My wife and I had been loyal customers to this place for 2 years never had any major issues except a few slow waitress s but on our last order there after a previous order had been made wrong I was assured on the phone my order would be correct and it wasn't the owner was not willing at first to get on the phone then she admitted it was her fault the order was wrong but refused to give the $60 credit for her blunder ,we aren't just once in a blue customers , weekly patrons there and she made 2 errors one assuring my order would be right after a bad order prior then after she knew she messed up she was willing to lose to loyal customers of more than 2years and I am Mexican because she couldn't manup and make it right . It's been 3 months since we stepped in there at all these are my people that did this to us she would have got that $60 back five times back later that day but she wanted to be rude to me ,make me wait 15 minutes on the phone just to talk to me and wouldn't give the food credit for our next return she could have made the whole order again also I didn't want the money I wanted my food but she was unwilling to accommodate either request for her mistake ‼️ To be honest in 2 years of going there that was the only time I ever even seen the owner and now I know why because she's not a people person and it showed on this particular occasion.If the owner ever met customers there on a daily basis she would lose a lot of business because of her attitude and refusals to people when she messes up orders . We love this place. It's not quiet, people enjoy themselves so don't go if your looking for an awkward whispering quiet atmosphere! We love the atmosphere and the staff and the food is always good. $30.22 for two of us including my corona and I left with a to go box again! Highly recommend, beware they can be quite busy most days so you may wait a little for a seat however we have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seated. Update* we've been several more times and are never let down. The staff are friendly, outgoing and attentive. They have always been accommodating with any request to adjust the menu item if I need more, less or something different besides what is started on the menu. The friendly nature is not just because it's they job, you can feel that they are good and genuine people. Now if I could stop ordering my I've and only favorite and try more menu items I may be able to give better feed back but as of yet I always go back to the same meal because it's just to good not to get it! 😀 I forget the name but it's chorizo, chicken, steak smothered in perfectly grilled onions and Blanco cheese with beans, rice and pico! We usually love this place. However tonight we ordered carry out. My husband went to pick the food up and came home. They forgot one of our meals. He told me how much it was and something didn’t add up. I personally added up the price of every item and I was OVERCHARGED almost $20 which is insane. So not only did I have to drive up there TWICE and they didn’t even try to be nice and make up for THIEIR mistake they overcharged me! The lady on the phone was super rude. I had to continuously repeat myself. She was telling me there was things not included with my meal even though I was looking at the menu on my phone. On top of that my chicken was extremely dry. Cheese sauce was supposed to come on it and it looks like they put 3 tablespoons on it, super stingy. Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant Is right around the corner with better parking.
