I am often puzzled by behavior of Google Maps workers thinking that a shopping center is the same as a shopping mall. Asking us local guides whether there is a public restroom, a concierge, a handicap access ramp, and things of that nature are irrelevant. Larkridge consists mostly of big box stores, placed where it is to service the south end of Longmont, the I-25 corridor farms/ranches, and other communities north of Broomfield and Westminster. Conspicuously absent is a full-service grocery store, the nearest one is 3 miles west on County Road 7. I visit mostly for the Costco and Home Depot, and when I used to drink a lot I would shop DaveCo but now I no longer have the need. There is plenty of room for expansion as new stores might be built but with the closing of Toys R Us and the inevitable closing of Sears, that might not be necessary. As you can see from my pictures there is a large structure being built at the south end (November 2018) but it looks to be an office complex.

A helluva good time. Drinks, food and good friendship... Oh and golf. 102 bays and super easy to get started and start playing. Bring your own clubs or use the house clubs. Doesn't matter if you are good or not still a bunch of fun. The staff is also friendly and attentive. Quite a good view at sunset. Highly recommend!

OH, MY GOODNESS!! I discovered this place on my way to Costco. I was hungry, this seemed like a place to find a good burger. What a find! I only wish I lived closer, and I'd eat here EVERYDAY! The atmosphere is retro 50s and 60s. The music is also from that era, and the old folks hum along while they eat or wait for food to be served. But, younger people seem to like it as well. The volume is perfect. Not so loud - as in many places these days - that you can't carry on a conversation with the people you're dining with. Just very pleasant. Now to the food...! I'm always happy. No matter what I order, I'm glad I chose that item. The hamburges are as great as they were in the olden days of my youth. And the malted shakes are THE BEST I've had since I was 9...so thick you will need a spoon (The strawberry is to die for). They even serve the "extra" shake that is left over in the cup that is used on the machine to mix your order. What a treat. My husband thinks that the "chicken fried steak" is the best he has eaten in a decade. The wait staff is top notch, also. They are friendly, fast, and always there when you want them. If I sound too superlative, I'm sorry. But, everything I've said is truly the way I feel. I love to take my grandchildren here, because the Triump 750 Bonneville motorcycles displayed are so cool. They love the fries and the shakes, my husband likes to tell them how cool the classic motorcycles are! This is just a fun place to visit. Great prices, professional and personable waitresses and waiters, and the best food this side of the 60s. Please give it a try and see if...

Home Depot:

Trying to find an employee to help you is difficult. Sadly, everything has to be locked up. Now I have to wait for someone, anyone with keys to help you. The guy I did get was so annoyed he acted like I took away his birthday. I explained what I was after (Milwaukee tools), showed him the mobile app, and proceeded to follow. He couldn't find them even though I gave him the location, the app said. I ended up pointing them out. God forbid if I got a chance to touch the box to ensure that it was the correct tool I wanted. He was more worried about me stealing them. I don't fault him there. I got the quarter-inch driver when I asked for the three-eighth-size driver. I didn't dare complain for fear he'd snarl at me some more. I asked where the additional sander belts were, and he told me to walk the aisle. Sadly, I did before I even asked. That's why I asked. I even said please and thank you and never gave him attitude. Captain Grumpy Biker guy ended up taking the tools up front for me. I continued walking the isles, looking for additional parts because they only give you two in the box. I could never find them. Amazon had them. The checkout lady was terrific. Super kind, friendly, and helpful. I was grateful for her. I probably won't go back to this store. I'll just order online for the other tools I want. I was replacing my Dewalt and Rigid with Milwaukee, so it's all uniform. Maybe the older man wat having a bad day. We...

Having read all of the previous reviews prepared us for our stay. Pleasantly surprised that the staff was very friendly. No issues there at all. The common areas were clean, everything seemed to work as advertised. Our room....well this is the area they really need to improve. New room, everything worked, however.... We own short term rental properties so I feel I have the expertise to address housekeeping. The bedding was not changed before our arrival. Body hair and blood on the sheets . That was unacceptable and disgusting We had brought our own bedding, so that was resolved. We found 2 bath towels in the room. No wash clothes or hand towels. Toilet wasn't cleaned. None of the floors were swept or mopped. These rooms would be any housekeeping departments dream. Easy to clean in a quick efficient manner. So that's where they need to make improvements. Would we stay again,? Not sure, location was perfect. New hotel, it's just a shame there seems to be no initiative...
