Saw West Side Story this past weekend. I have seen the staged version at least 3 other times. This, by far, is the best production I have ever seen. Great cast, great voices, great choreography. The addition of the children's chorus and dance during "Somewhere" was a truly inspired addition. I am sorry I can only give it 5 stars. Go see it before it closes...

We stayed about 10 minutes. It looks like a high school play. The theater was 3/4 empty. Waste of money for us. You have to try things though. It definitely was one of the worst shows I’ve ever seen there or anywhere. Actually, I was very surprised because these rave reviews I’ve read. Those people must’ve seen a different show than us. Saw Oliver & was very disappointed. Talk about character assassination… the actors are very talented but Fagin wasn’t some nice old man, Nancy wasn’t some young innocent looking girl, you guys took my favorite musical & ruined the characters. There’s more you could have done with the talent you got & didnt. Maybe some prosthetics could...
