A park within a park, this park is typical of an upscale residential park. This particular park is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped! Here locals can walk in, jog around, play some ball or take the kids over to the ultra-mod playground. Sheltered, shaded and open space picnic tables and green areas are available for general public use. There’s a small restroom available and trash containers for upkeep by the users. Soccer, football and other field sports may be played in the open green space. The basketball court is also a good place for local individuals to play. The ball sports played in this park would less likely be team oriented, lacking the stands, bleachers, larger restrooms and designated parking to accommodate the crowds. Playing horseshoes or having a workout here seems simple, and void of complications. Since it is a neighborhood park, street parking along Lang Ranch Pkwy seems adequate, tho a parking lot is available thru the Chumash Indian Museum gates, which are closed at sunset.
