I picked up food from Jinky's in Thousand Oaks about an hour ago I have never in my life experienced such horrible service!!! Going to the bar area to pick up your food is a joke & has always been a terrible idea because the area is so small & right in the middle of service, order, & kitchen area but that would b doable if the service wasn't so bad & rude!! Right when I walked into the restaurant the lady at the reception area was bothered that I told her I was there for a to go order & rudely told me to go to the bar area ... so I did & told the guy that I was there for a to go order for Amanda he said ok ... so I wait there in the middle of the restaurant trying to stay out of the servers way even then servers bumped into me not saying excuse me or sorry & I waited for over 32 mins. Not once being asked "if I've been helped ... or what I was there for?" by any of the 6 servers that purposely avoided eye contact with me!! Then when I finally got someone to stop they seemed offended & irritated that I politely asked them if I was at the right place for to go orders. After being dismissed again I went back to the reception desk & had to raise my voice to get any attention & I made sure not to curse because of the children that were waiting to be seated. Once again I was ignored but thankfully the bartender who was extremely busy heard me & came over to help me I finally got our food & left shaking with anger. It's ridiculous that these kids that work there have no work ethic & are so self entitled!! Being rude & offended to a CUSTOMER for asking you a question is not only infuriating but it's YOUR JOB to take care of your customers! We will NEVER go there again & I hope my friends & family will not either (THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE SERVICE HAS BEEN BAD, RUDE &...

Shame on me. I should have known better before giving this place a second chance after my first terrible experience but Jinky's Thousand Oaks (Ave de los Arboles) succeeded to disappoint once again. We placed an order on the morning of September 9 through Jinky's own website for three orders of pancakes (1. blueberry, 2. lemon pistachio & 3. oaty oak).

I picked up the order and returned home to find out they didn't do any of the add-ons that were requested. In fact, the add-ons (1. blueberry, 2. lemon pistachio & 3. oaty oak) were not only on our confirmation email but the receipt they handed me as well. I went back and asked to simply have the add-ons on the side. The person I spoke with said I would be charged extra for this. Nevermind the fact that no one told me of their decision to provide the incorrect order when I picked up and the cost it took to go back and forth to this location. God forbid they have some inkling of good customer service and admit they were wrong but no. I then asked for a refund and he rudely told me to contact DoorDash. How mind boggling that a simple mistake coupled with horrendous customer service equates to losing a local customer and this horrible review. But here we are as their employee decided to draw a line in the sand. Anyway, be warned that the customer service is horrendous , food isn't that great and you will be treated like garbage. With so many options in the area, I encourage you to go elsewhere before going to this...

Placed a simple order this morning on the phone with a male employee. When we got home the order was incorrect. I called back and spoke to the same employee who took my order. Since we were already home and starving I opted out of returning for the correct order, and wasting food unnecessarily, and asked if instead we could get a discount on our next order since we go there often. He proceeded to say that since I wasn't charged for avocado that should suffice. The order I originally placed was $16 and was charged $18 (my mistake for not noticing sooner). So, I payed more for the wrong order sans the add on I requested. When I brought that up I was then hung up on. I called back and nobody answered.

Seriously Jinkys? That's some cowardly behavior and an absolute failure of a proper customer service model. I hope you read this and see who worked on March 5th, at 11 a.m. at the Thousand Oaks location and hold your adult employee accountable on their immature response to a complaint. If you make a mistake, you correct it because you value the customer. Not try and justify the error then behave like a child to conflict with the people who give your...

Always looking for a good breakfast or brunch spot, this place seemed to check those boxes. The first thing I noticed was the variety of the menu. There were so many things that were unique and sounded good! When I asked about the chili selection for the omelette, I was offered a couple samples which was a really nice gesture and helped me choose. I opted for the chili omelette with El Draque chili...their spiciest one offered. It's not a burn your face off spicy; it's more of a flavorful Thai Chile style spice that hits on the flavor and the heat. Service was good, but I felt it could have been a little more attentive. I never had my water glass refilled while we were there. I was able to try a bite of my wife's breakfast chili chimichanga and it was delicious. She got the mild Bartholomew's Beef chili which was really flavorful without the spice. I liked that item a lot! I'll be back to try some of the other interesting items on the menu here!

This was our third time dining here, and the experience was top-notch. Not too many guests at the time of our lunch. The owner and the Waiter, Tony, were friendly, fast, and quick to handle any concerns. The food was prime. No problem at all. The food arrived fresh and with full flavor. I had Vivi’s chicken sandwich. Brioche bun, grilled chicken, provolone cheese, fresh tomato, onion, lettuce, and avocado. I had the fries replaced with sweet potato fries. Tami had a teriyaki bowl, grilled chicken, brown rice, bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, pineapple, a rich, sweet teriyaki sauce, and was topped with sesame seeds. Our drinks were always refilled and Tony did a great job following up multiple times. The team works well with each other and is very attentive to the needs of the table. Would come back.

From the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was friendly. It was a busy morning because of Labor Day but they kept it in control and were able to make sure we were taken care of. They also accept feedback. The food I ordered tasted good but the waffle tower sounds like a big plate of waffles but as you can see from the picture, it's just one waffle stacked on itself with a knife through the middle to hold it together. The manager did his best to make it right so if we are in Thousand Oaks again we might give Jinky's another chance.
