The man who I assume is the owner was extremely condescending and rude. There's absolutely no reason to show such a negative attitude toward the people who deliver your food for your business. I am a DoorDash driver, I always walk in with a smile on my face, and I'm happy to pick up at every restaurant and drop off to every customer. So when I walked into Amici's and was treated like I was doing something wrong and even bothering the man, it made me want to warn people that there is no reason to support a small business with a big attitude. There are so many wonderful places that we can support with friendly owners. The rest of the staff has always been very friendly, but the owner (assuming based on age and arrogance level) is just a jerk. On all the local Mom Facebook groups I have always recommended Amici's for anyone throwing birthday parties and I have supported them myself for years. That will never happen and I'll make sure to warn people online for recommendations for party subs in the future. What a disappointment and judging by the other reviews, it sounds like he treats all of his delivery drivers this way. I feel bad for his real employees. I would like to know what your problem is with DoorDash drivers that are helping your customers get your food? I also would like you to know and understand that us drivers may also be your customers. PS, my delivery canceled after I picked up the pizza so I got to keep the pizza and it was just OK.

Haven't been here in a few years. We decided to stop in for a fresh baked pizza. We ordered a jumbo size, simple, sausage and cheese. The crust was delicious, crispy around the outside, soft but fully cooked near the center. The sauce was tasty and applied evenly over the entire pizza, there was plenty of delicious and melty cheese. The sausage was different from what I grew up with, but tasty instead of the traditional sausage clumps one would expect, the sausage is from a stick of sausage, sliced thin, and because it was cooked well, some of it had a consistency of bacon. All in all, very delicious pizza! We ate well in the dining room, and still had nearly a half pizza to take home for tomorrow. Jumbo pizza, two substantial soft drinks, tax and tip, was just over $38.00 a good price for the quality of the food we received. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the restrooms were clean and well stocked. I'd say that we will be back again, soon. Maybe next time with one of their coupons.

Not a very friendly place for first timers. Menu too complicated to navigate through, and the owner seemed very impatient when we took our time to order. Should've ordered a pizza, that's on me, but the sandwich is quite underwhelming for what it cost. 9 dollars for this? No thank you.

I ordered their gigantic cheese pizza for delivery like I have many times in the past. As we began eating it we noticed how little cheese and very little sauce was used to make it. So much so that it had bald spots in several areas of the top of the pizza. The cheese was also about 3-4 inches from the edge around the whole pizza making for a much smaller pizza in actuality. I didn’t feel like screwing with it when we got it because we were hungry and tired so we ate it anyway. I gave them a courtesy call after we ate , not to get anything from them, but to let them know what we got. I’m in business and always appreciate any feedback from customers. I spoke to the “manager” who seemed to me to be somewhat offended by my complaint. He interrupted me a number of times while i was calmly talking to him, told me we should have called them immediately and they would have sent another one which I guess would have been ok if we had time and didn’t have other plans. He went on to tell me that the same guy has been making pizza all day and they had not gotten any complaints Implying that my complaint is nonsense. He offered me a 10% off my next pizza lol. Ameci use to make a good pizza. I imagine they still can, maybe, despite the thing I got tonight which fell well short of that. But it really was the manager’s attitude that made me never want to go back…and I will...

Worst place i’ve ever been (Thousand Oaks location). Looks like the workers at this place, bring their outside problems to the job and take it out on customers. I’m a doordash driver and one of the workers gave me attitude simply because i went to pick up 2 orders. I received the message saying that they were ready and this guy with his attitude (he wasn’t wearing a name tag) almost yanked my phone because he wanted to see if i was telling the truth, i showed him the app and told me that one was ready and the other not (they were going to the same person)but the restaurant lied by saying that they were and that it will be ready in 10 minutes, and i called DoorDash about it because I don’t wanted them to think that i was late, and this guy told me to talk outside and since i called DoorDash about this guy attitude and basically the fact that he actually wanted to yank my phone, he yells that since I’m calling the company now I’m gonna wait 20 minutes because of that (this guy took it seriously and against him). I don’t know if the guy was the owner or an employee but i went politely and this guy was having a bad day or maybe he is not happy with his life, but he shouldn’t take off his anger against a DoorDash driver. If this happened to me that i was just picking up and order for delivery, now imagine how they would treat...
