This was my first time coming into the store. Very clean, The prices are great and MOST of the staff are very friendly. However, one of the employees working the register was not inviting at all. While ringing me up, I expressed how I like the fitting room because normally I buy clothes that are too big or too small and end up having to re-donate. Her response was āwell, okay thenā with a tone/facial expression of annoyance I was even bothering to speak to her. By the end, a kind customer chimed in to let me know the SPCA has the same brown coin for bargains, and the employee once again had an annoyed look on her face like she wasnāt going to bother telling me bc I shouldāve already known. I want to say she was having a bad day, but between the review before mine and my experience Iām wondering if itās not just a bad day. Her demeanor with the other customer seemed quite different, so it made me feel like I was the problem for bothering to speak to her or ask questions. After working in retail management for 10+ years I know thatās the last way anyone wants to feel leaving a store, and the last way Iād want my customers to feel. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in today January 18th 2025 with my mother as we have in the past. Well today will be the last day I ever go to this resale store. As I went to pay for the two items I had, I asked the lady at the register how much for the menās shoes I had as they are unmarked maāam. Her response was very cold and rude, she looked at me as that was the dumbest question I could have ever asked, and stated everything in the back room is $3.00. So I went in and looked and saw no sign stating this as other areas as where I picked the shoes up from were marked all different prices. So instead of being rude back. My mother had paid for my things and I went to the car. I do want to let folks know that this place is had a wonderful woman who worked the registrar she was so delightful and pleasant to everyone. Well they ran her out and she know longer works there. So a kind word to others going in just be careful not have the same awful experience that I had. Have a wonderful and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIm heavily tattooed, I deal with the occasional stares and comments, but I have never felt less welcome in a place. I politely asked if they had something I was looking for, the joy of a woman working proceeded to look me up and down, and couldnāt blurt it out fast enough āno. We do not. Sorry. Canāt help you.ā In the grossest, most judgmental way. I felt the need to apologize because my sheer presence seemed to offend her. Little did she know I had on five figures worth of jewelry alone. Not counting my head to toe designer outfit. She took one look at me and decided to look at me as if I were lesser than. Donāt judge a book by its cover. I left feeling horrible about myself....
