As I was getting ready to write a review about mine and my husband and even my family's experiences from this furniture row The past few months I had got Notice Of a review just left, that kind of Bothered me to my core. I have had nothing but amazing Service from a young gentleman associate Here Multiple times. It is also important to note me and my family members are African American. I have been in this furniture row right after the gym along with my husband Probably looking like young thugs. Nevertheless we were treated with the same amazing respect each time. As I was getting ready to post a review on this amazing associate I had just seen a not so good review posted and of course their race was thrown in right away. It bothers me to my core that somebody would try playing a race card on here. Also stating that they drove down to Bob's furniture which is nothing in comparison to furniture row As far as quality and prices are about 75% cheaper in comparison. Any salesman Will ask you what limit You are wanting to spend That is not an insult . And I'm sorry I just had to say it Because that tells me everything I need to know about this person using the race card at a furniture store out of all places . These salesmen whether you spend a $100 or $10000 Depend on any of these sales to live. So they are not intentionally gonna try to not sell you anything. Also Considering the fact We have been treated amazing being African American, This has been the number one reason besides his salesman ship I have sent multiple clients to this place particularly. I have referred so many people from my business To this furniture row because of the young gentleman associate and his personality and attitude towards us. If there was any kind of racial profiling I would not put my own business and referrals in jeopardy. He does an amazing job. As an African American business owner I am proud of the way this furniture row and their salesman handles the client's I send. I would never pull out my race card because I walked into the store and was asked what I would like to spend. If you feel the place was too expensive for you just say that. But I just had to put in my review about this associate because I have had the complete opposite experience. I will continue sending my Partners over to the store For their purchases or furniture needs. I always get the best feedback when I do. So I just wanted to let this young associate know not all of us pull this race card. So I just wanted to let this young associate know not all of us pull this race card. You have been a great asset and a pleasure to work with. We will continue to send you our business. Please if you're considering getting furniture and going here do not let that review Sway your opinion. Go in there and see for yourself I promise you will...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went into Furniture Row looking for something to help with storing items in my bedroom. It's important to mention for this review that I am an African American woman and my boyfriend is white. On the day of my visit, I was not dressed in a manner that could cause anyone to assume that I was low on funds. I was prepared to spend money on the right storage solution, which is why I even bothered getting dressed and driving over to Furniture Row in the first place. . . However, the associate made a snap judgment based on my skin tone and didn't bother to have much of a conversation with me about my needs. The associate took one look at me and immediately said, "Oh, I can tell you don't want to spend a lot of money." This assumption was not only offensive, but also entirely incorrect. My boyfriend and I looked at each other and cringed so hard. I think we were both speechless because the young man just said it like it was nothing. The associate then showed me ONE item that wasn't even remotely close to what I needed. There was no additional conversation like "oh well let's try looking over here" or anything at all to try to help me. As someone who also works in sales, I must say that the associate I spoke to needs a ton of D&I training. We ended up driving 2 short minutes down the road to Bob's Discount Furniture, where we had the most wonderful customer experience. The associates there offered us free refreshments and snacks. The entire store layout and atmosphere were significantly better than Furniture Row. Lastly, the selection was beautiful, and I personally couldn't be happier with the purchase I made at Bob's Discount Furniture. I hope the attitude of that young man isn't a reflection of the entire company but if it is. I don't have to hope that you go out of business. You'll put yourself out of business because you're still operating on the horribly racist and outdated belief that brown people dont have any money.
Update: The store manager called me and we had a fantastic conversation. The issue is resolved and I would definitely come here in...
Read moreThe sales staff are exceptional, kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. We ordered furniture mid November. Jonathan Louis brand. It's custom fabric and the color was beautiful. Our order arrived right before Christmas. Plan on at least 8-10 weeks if you're not buying from the floor. It arrived damaged. Gouged corners, splitting seams, not a great start. Contacted the store and our options were to reorder new couch or take a discount. Seems it happens often. Re-ordered. Within that time frame, the pillows included started to come unstitched. Took the covers off and the pillow inserts were barely sewn, stuffing coming out. Not quality at all. I wish i could add pictures. Contacted the store again and they advised they would send new pillows with the order. Again, helpful staff, not their fault. Approximately 12 weeks later (yes another 3 months) we got a random text saying the new furniture would be delivered the next day. We weren't in town. Contacted the store and they said, nope, not your couch, we'll be in contact. Set up for the delivery and they brought it out with the wrong pillows and tried to take the old ones back. I showed the previous text from the sales lady that said keep them all. I'm just not impressed with the product. If you're going to spend what we spent (approximately 4K for sofa, love seat and chair) go down to Appliance Center and get the furniture made in North Carolina. For the quality of this product, I feel we should have saved the money and just bought Bob's to get by for 5 years until it disintegrates. I'm currently fabric gluing and hand stitching the pillows to see if they're salvageable. I named the living room set Kim Kardashian because it might be beautiful, ...
