East Coast Gamers — Attraction in Toms River

I have never been in a more friendly and inviting place then here. They old saying of "visit first as friends and leave as family" rings true here.

I was never that big into board/table games and role playing games so I always felt intimidated when entering stores like this BUT this store blew away my expectations! Not only is staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but so are the customers that play in the store. Feel free to walk up to anyone and ask them questions on what they are play.

The store has a great selection of used and new video games and consoles as well as board games, collectable card games, miniature figure games, role playing games and much more. They always have free tables to play on as well as snacks and drinks available to purchase. They also have certain nights during the week were people come in to play certain games. Feel free to call the store and find out what days are what.

If you haven't been here already, take an opportunity and swing by. This store is a great way to spend a day. Who knows, you might leave with a new hobby but if anything i guarantee you will leave with some...

After the fantastic experience we had last night at East Coast Gamers I had to take a few moments to write a review. My son and I attended the Prerelease Event for Star Wars Unlimited Legends of Force and I can't begin to describe how welcoming and helpful both the staff and other players were.

I told the staff (2 guys, super friendly and I wish I knew their names) that it was our first time attending an in store event but we had been playing and enjoying this game at home for a few weeks. With my son being on the younger side of all the other players it was so nice to see how the staff explained how the event went to him made him feel comfortable sitting and taking part in the events.

The other customers/players were very helpful and friendly taking time to clarify rules and strategies that we didn't have a clear grasp on.

All in all this was a wonderful experience. When we are in the area we will be doing all of our card/game shopping at East Coast Gamers.

I have Been going to East Coast Gamers for many years now since the last owner and I have to honestly say since the new ownership this store has been a relaxed and comfortable place to nerd out with a community of fantastic people who I consider great friends and some family. We have an ever growing community of people that are just good to the core and love to just relax and game have fun and laugh. If you are new to Table Top games or looking to get into them ECG is the place there isn't a single person who wouldn't help you and show you the game give great support in whatever your hobby is and help you achieve your goal whatever it is.
