Taco-Tastic ll (downtown Tom’s River) — Restaurant in Toms River

If I could give this place no stars I would. We get tacos from here at least once a week same order everytime. I always tell people these are the best tacos around, until tonight. I placed an order online, picked it up, and ate it. As I was biting into my taco I found an earring as shown in the picture below. Obviously as you can imagine this is extremely disturbing as this comes from someone’s ear where bacteria is. I called them and explained the situation and they went back and forth lying to me saying my order didn’t exist and that this was NOT the main street location and I had the wrong place. Then after about 10 minutes of back and forth I said once again, is this the main street location in which the lady followed with yes. I told them about the earring and they said “ok we’ll talk to the manager” no manager has spoken to me or contacted me and my next steps will be reporting them to our local health department. this is beyond disgusting and I am incredibly disappointed. Things happen and its how a business responds or does not that shows its character. We ordered on-line $80.00 of food which we were looking forward to getting. We ordered from their website, not Door Dash or Grub Hub. Unfortunately the driver dropped the food in the driveway when the overstuffed bag tore. The food spilled on the driveway and was now inedible. I helped the driver clean up the mess and contacted Tacotastic 2. I spoke to several people, including the owner. I asked them to remake the order and we would wait or pick up. The owners response was "we made the food, not our fault the driver dropped it". Really? Was it my fault? Did I overstuffed the bag? Did I put too much weight in it? Did the driver forget to support the bag? So, the owner never bothered to call me back. Basically sticking me with the bill for food that was dropped on the ground. My husband and I were picking up an order for Doordash. We had been out and about all evening, and my husband needed to use the bathroom. As he was walking to the bathroom, one of the employees was coming out and blocked him from going in while asking him if he was a driver. When he responded yes, he was then told, "Drivers can't use my bathroom." My husband replied, "Please, man, I need to go to the bathroom." He was still told no. This is a shameful way to treat a human being, let alone someone who is delivering food for your customers. Not only did we log a complaint with Doordash about this location, we spoke with the Fischer Blvd. location, and they sounded embarrassed to be receiving this feedback. We have never had an issue at any other pick-up locations when we used their facilites, until tonight. I have read other reviews and have been shocked by the response that says it is from the owner. I truly hope that the customers who wittnessed the situation this evening think twice...
