I am not into the habit of leaving reviews when I go out for dinner, but once in a while when I feel it’s a home -run, then I want to praise the team that makes it happen. Oi Sushi’s team succeeds in preparing fresh and tasty food with bright flavors and without the overindulgence of added sauces and tricks. The dining room is casual with service to match. A great BYOB find to feast for a song. Had lunch at Oi yesterday and wow was it amazing. I moved to Toms River from NYC a few years ago and this place rivals some of the best places I’ve ever tried. They don’t just throw rolls together for $4.50, so if that’s what you’re after then there are other options in the area. There’s an actual chef here that takes pride in his food and creates elevated dishes that you’re going to remember.
