I bought this bathroom rug at Macys in the back stage department (I believe it's called that), brought it home, and washed it to hand to dry to use, cause I always wash new items) The only problem is when I opened the washer tons of pieces of fabric from the rug were all over my washer and when I pulled the rug out it was just shedding in pieces. I took the tag, receipt, and all the fabric that shredded off it to Macy's to return. I explained to the clerk what had happened. She stated she could not return an item that had been washed. Granted, this bathroom rug was only $12.00. It's still the fact of the matter that Macy's didn't want to stand up to their product. I'm very disappointed in Macy's! And wanted to warn others. I still have the rug and am considering taking it back in and speaking to a manager, but is it really worth my gas and time? To probably be told the same thing. Macy's needs to stand behind its products. Just if you buy from there, take caution, or better yet, go somewhere else that stands behind...
Read moreI'm not sure what's happening with this Macy's lately but it seems to have seen better days. I found some of the stuff to be helpful and others were giving the impression that they would rather just be left alone. For example I asked one gentleman where the washrooms are located he didn't answer me because he had his earphones in so I waved at him and asked him if he could tell me where the washrooms were and he just said they're upstairs in the corner.. The last time I checked there are four corners in a square building I went to all three corners in correctly before I finally got lucky at the 4th corner so if you're looking for a washroom in Macy's go up the stairs or up the escalators rather look to the left and go north east in the building they are right in behind the luggage area. You won't find any paper towels in the washroom so be sure to bring something to wipe your hands dry or find an old discontinued shirt that looks like it won't be sold that's what...
Read moreWent in to find A new cologne for my husband when cashing out the register request your phone number to get 25% off your next order before I could respond the cashier just press cancel when I asked her why she did that she gave me a bunch of excuses of how the coupon only works for certain things. As someone who uses coupons often because I have a large family this upset me immediately. When I ask for a manager to fix it Linda who was the manager informed me that the coupon would not work on my current purchase I informed her I understand that but I will still get 25% off my next purchase. Her and the employee was very unapologetic and instead of trying to fix my issue they just kept giving me excuses as to why 25% off was not a big deal. I am so annoyed and I wish Macy’s would better train their employees on how to treat a customer. May even return the $150 cologne because of the lack of...
