Target — Attraction in Town of Amherst

One wonders what the operations manager thinks they accomplish by under-staffing this location so badly it's a safety problem.

The one staffer we did find was lovely, just clearly overwhelmed working their zone all alone, and ridiculously disempowered by the management who had told them not to leave their zone for any reason. All that accomplished was to prevent the staffer from helping us to reach items safely, and prevent us + another family from finding items that showed online is being in store to make a sale.

We wound up teaming up with the other family to do the necessary after my disabled aunt nearly fell trying to move around obstructions... so many sections/aisles were blocked by racks/carts/boxes! We were told was restocking but there were no staff making that happen because there were just no staff.

Likewise for the special bedding sale... yes it gets chaotic when there's a popular discount during school holidays, but that's not a surprise and you bring in extra staff to cope. That clearly didn't happen, so it looked less like a sale aisle than a Viking raid.

It is a convenient location and what wasn't obstructed looked clean = two stars.

Hopefully the management can get it act together before it burns out the workers who did their best on...

I love this location for womens' intimates! I've been desperately looking for bras and have had trouble. A few months back I found an amazing bra at Target that was high quality for about half the price of what it would be elsewhere. Unfortunately, I lost about 50lbs since then so it doesn't actually fit so great. I've been to a couple other Targets and their size selection has been abysmal. I went to this location and was thrilled to see not only did they have the size I needed, 38-40 DDD (depending on cut) but I was actually able to CHOOSE different colors! typically it's i take whatever they have. Also, they had a great selection of clothing, their size runs were better than other locatoins (don't know if they stock more or if it doesn't get as picked over at this location or what) but it was awesome to actually shop and try stuff on, especially as i went from 270 late march of this year to 205 now so I have no idea what fits. please know the appearance of your store matters. i was at the NFB location about a month back and their bra section looked like a bomb went off where it was almost impossible to even look for things, which weren't even marked or...

This Target location is an absolute mess. For the second time I have bought an item that ended up being something someone else opened and returned USED, that the store put right back on the shelf. I didn’t notice until I got home that the package had been opened and scotch taped back shut. The item should have included a charger, which was missing, and the item had clearly been used because it was dirty. I shouldn’t have to inspect my purchases in store before I buy them, I should be able to trust that whatever I take off the shelf is new and all parts are included. And the kicker is that the person who returned used curbside pickup because they left the sticker with their name and order number on it. Yes, if I had noticed all this in store I could have saved myself the trouble of having to return it (and I’m sure it’ll end up on the shelf again for the next person to deal with), but like I said I should be able to buy without worrying...
