I really don't know what's not to love about this place! I heartily appreciate that every time I visit Five Guys, the employees are so. dang. enthusiastic! Save for Chick-fil-A, there's no other place on Earth where young people are this genuinely happy to have you come to eat their food.
Tonight I went for dinner. I dined solo, which I often do these days. I'm not complaining or looking for sympathy, or even for a dining mate, really. I have learned to appreciate my own company the older I get. There's something nice about eating your meal alone and simply enjoying the food. This is one of those establishments where I don't feel like a weirdo for eating alone.
For anyone wanting CHOICES when it comes to drinks, Five Guys has them! They've got the Coke Remix machine, or whatever it's called. Don't be the guy who gets a Diet Coke at this machine, and walks away. Get fancy, yo! Tonight I had a Diet Ginger ale with raspberry. Plus, they've got iced tea, lemonade, and milkshakes.
I'm eating (dirty) keto these days, so I don't usually get to enjoy the fries. Back when I did though, I can say hands-down these are some of the best fries out there. Burgers are solid. Fries are amazing. AND you can get your burger wrapped in a lettuce leaf or served in a bowl, keto-style. For that alone, they have won...
Read moreHeard people talk about how "awesome" the food was here. Really confused where all these people rating this place 5 stars are really eating because it was not the case tonight. So I decided to try it and when i got there thr menu was simple(not a bad thing) it had a hamburger, cheeseburger, little versions of these, hot dogs, a veggie burger, fries, and various milk shakes. I ordered a hamburger with mayo, mushrooms, lettuce and pickles. My husband ordered a bacon cheese burger with his toppings, and a regular size cajun fry. I went to bite into my burger expecting a juicy goodness of explosive seasoning and much to my surprise it was dry, dry, dry, and bland. The fries were soggy with way to much cajun seasoning that it made you want to cough. The only good thing was peanuts and the make your own coke flavor machine. $26.87 check it off my bucket list and...
Read moreThe staff is always friendly and seem to have great respect for their customers and fellow workers. The food is prepared in an open kitchen format, and served in to-go bags, which is great since it helps keep the tables cleaner and allows the customer to take left overs home. The staff is very generous with extra fries in the bag. The fries are delicious since they are made with peanut oil. There are also free peanuts available. The staff is constantly cleaning the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms. The burgers, hot dogs and milkshakes are also delicious! The menu is limited, however, Five Guys really excel in their cuisine. The only issue I have is that they do not offer choices that would be helpful for people who need to monitor their diets more due to serious illnesses, such...
