New York Axe is a great place to spend any type of quality time with friends and family! Whether you’re having a bachelors/bachelorette party, a sweet 16, any birthday, 50th, couples wanting to challenge each other and more. New York Axe has you covered with a great experience where you can make memories for a life time! With private party rooms available, if you want a more private scene for your occasion but usually the open room has a lot of energy which feeds into your party raising the competition in everybody! If you have young kids, less than 14/15 don’t bring them expecting to be able to be hot shots at throwing axes. It’s not the hardest thing to do but you don’t want to discourage your kids if they can’t hit the board.

On the other hand, for the older adults, I’ve been there multiple times and have seen 60/70 year olds go there and have a blast. So the age of playing does vary as the staff do their best to make everyone an Axpert by the end of your session!

Definitely recommend checking them out! First digital place in Long Island, with different game modes available. Standard Bullseye, hack at some Zombies, Connect 4 and Tic-Tac-Toe. Also heard there might be another location opening up soon!

Also heard they have Mobile Axe available for any party or occasions...

We had such a great time at NY Axe w our Axpert James. Myself and 3 of my pediatric attending colleagues took a group of medical students here on a retreat!! James made sure that we all had a great time. we arrived to a nice sized party room w 3 throwing lanes and a table set for our food. James was so friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to make sure each person had a great experience. He gave us all individualized tips and made us practice until we were successful. Those who were not great with the ax got to try the throwing stars and they did great. Someone mentioned that they wanted to try archery so he brought in the equipment and let her try. He was funny, personable and even offered to take pics for us with the props. Scheduling the party w Raymond was easy and he was more than accommodating with giving us the space for a little extra time to chat together. Price is great for what you get. We will definitely be back w our residents and families/friends. Place also clean and offered lots of sanitizers. Felt very comfortable w their...

Phenomenal facility. I've been to a lot of axe throwing venues in NY, NJ, and PA, and this is now surely in my top choices. The axes used are official axes from competition axe throwing. Other places generally use axes that could be sub-par quality, so it makes this experience THAT much better. The integration of the digital screen is actually pretty awesome. The experience doesn't feel stale. They even spray the boards down with water and vinegar so the axes stick better and don't splint the wood. Genius! That's the first time I've ever seen that. James K was our coach and did an amazing job and walked us through every minor detail. It's to note that the coaches stay with you throughout the duration of the throw, no other place I've ever gone to does that. Great staff, amazing experience, and will definitely be back when I'm on Long Island. Thanks again! 🪓

Plus: You can even throw...

This was our first time. There were 4 of us. Two couples. We're all in our 50s. We went on a Sunday and practically had the whole place to ourselves. Our "Axepert" stayed with us the whole time to help us learn how to throw better. We did 90 minutes, which seemed perfect. Less time would have seemed rushed. We had a great time and agreed we would have to come back. It was something new and different for us, and we all enjoyed it very much. We went because of a steep discount offered through Clip, formerly Local Flavor, so trying it for the first time wasn't risky from a cost perspective. As much fun as it was, though, I do have to say that I feel that the regular, non-discounted price is a bit high, and I would only come back if/when similar discounts are offered. But, having said that, it was a lot of fun, and I've already purchased discounted vouchers for next time.
