The food taste and quality are up to he usual chipotle standard; however, if you order online, beware:
the portions were smaller than just about any other chipotle I’ve patronized. they made mistakes in the order. one star because of customer service after the fact.
If you order online, you need to double check your order before you head out. I ordered two salads (with dressing) and a kid’s meal. I was given one salad dressing, and on the kid’s meal I was shorted the chips and the drink. It may not seem like much, unless you have a hangry 4 year old who was expecting something he didn’t get. No way I’m driving back to Farmingdale from Northport to replace the missing items, so I called and spoke with the first real person I could, after dealing with the automated telephone answering system.
I requested a refund for the Apple juice and kid’s chips; the response was to contact corporate through the web site. At that point, although I was annoyed, I was ready to just write it off and move on. And then he said that he spoke with the person who prepared the meals and that all the items were in fact in the bag. Wow. So seriously, I’d call and fabricate a complaint over an apple juice, kid’s chips and salad dressing? I know I’m playing a small violin here, so here’s the deal, Chipotle, if you’re listening: there’s nothing more frustrating than not getting what you’ve ordered, AND PAID FOR. I’d rather wait an extra few minutes and have the correct order than get home and try to make my own salad dressing and deal with a cranky child who got shorted. And spending 45 minutes driving a 22 mile roundtrip is not an option either.
What grates my nerves, though, is to be told that I’m wrong, and that the person who prepared the order is correct. It’s that last part that really annoyed me. I feel as though a lousy $2-3 is not worth the amount of energy I’ve spent on the matter. I called because of the principle: I paid for something I didn’t get. And then to basically be told I was wrong... No, I won’t send an email to corporate; instead, I will spend the energy...
Read moreHonestly, the worst chipotle ever. Me and my girlfriend went there today, she had a reward for her birthday on the app, for free chips and guac. When we got to the register to pay, she had told them that and showed the man the thing to scan. He scanned it and then very rudely said, "Sorry it doesn't work" she then asked them why, and said that, she just had to spend five or more dollars to get it and he just said no. We asked for water cups, because we wanted water. She practically threw the cups at us and said "water only" we waited to be rung up for almost ten minutes, someone else, maybe a manager came out and was helping and someone else asked us, why we were still standing there. We didn't know what was going on. Then I had realized that we didn't have any lids for our cups; and yes, I understand that we got water cups, but every other chipotle I have been to, always gives a lid. Because of covid, you're not able to sit in the restaurant to eat. So when we asked for the lids, she rudely said no, then my girlfriend looked at the other woman and said nicely "but were going in the car" and the woman threw her hands up and said, "I don't know sorry" after that we left. We both love chipotle and that was the worst experience I have ever had there, and will never be returning to...
Read moreThis place has gone down so much, corporate needs to be in here for sure. Understaffed, attitudes, unhappy employees. Where are the DMs or regional managers. 2 weeks atleast needed for training. Came here because the closest to my house didn't cook or want to cook fajitas 2 hours prior to closing. Arrived and only saw 3 ppl the young girl cooking was pleasant and was trying to catch up and restock meat. There was no steak, the new steak or chicken on a weekend.thank god i didn't want that. The ppl that were waiting seemed to be delivery drivers waiting on meat to cook so they could do their jobs. The young boy doing the line clearly was over it but kept going and was ok. The cashier was sweeping not trying to help with nothing. This short girl comes out while i finally get to order after 10 min of waiting and tells the young boy thats enough with the meat i was getting even though i was paying for extra meat. She came out nasty without even knowing my order. I kept my mouth shut because its sad that you can be that miserable. If she was the manager or key holder she should have been steering the ship because her staff was sinking. Chipotle needs to do better. Have initiatives for hiring or have staff plan better for the weekend nights. Haven't eaten yet...
