As someone with 9 knee surgeries, 3 back surgeries and 2 neck fusions I believe I have the experience to say the team of Laura, Sarah and Sam are the best I’ve come across in my 40 years of going to PT. They were actually recommended to me from a nurse in Good Sam hospital during a weeklong stay a few years ago. Got my back injury to become manageable. Was able to get my strength back fairly quickly after my last neck fusion and was did an amazing job after my knee replacement. Was able to do things in 60:days that I hadn’t done in a couple of decades. So thankful they were recommended to me Last September Sarah worked with me on their training program to help me get on back on the golf course. Fantastic and cannot recommend enough for anyone who physically may be having issues playing. Did an evaluation the first day of it and determined my weaknesses and areas where I was ok. Was introduced to stretching program based off the evaluation and has helped tremendously. Besides working on this on-site they also give you an online program that I follow before I hit the course or range. I now can play without being in agony after a few holes. And when something starts to hurt I know how to address the issue. In conclusion as a longtime lacrosse coach the benefits they provide are off the charts for past and current athletes. I also see how their programs help both preseason and during seasons . Reminds me of how Duke U gets their athletes ready for the season with stretching and...
Read moreI haven't been to In Motion in years but I really want to share the experience I had there.
My ex had an injury so I would go with him and someone noticed I was rolling my neck a lot, constantly shifting due to back pain etc. I went from sitting and reading to becoming a patient, not really expecting a lot due to not getting help in the past for my pain...but why not try?
My PT was amazing! On a random day when I had to see someone new due to my schedule, I was still very well taken care of. I went from dealing with pain and social anxiety to feeling comfortable and looking forward to my appointments because I knew I'd feel better, and I felt safe with the people working on/with me.
Years later, I still receive emails and follow them on Instagram because I know if I ever need to go to physical therapy, I'll be going back here. I still have my foam roller (and I've moved a few times since!) and if I'm feeling any kind of pain, I do my exercises that I learned and feel better. I learned why I was struggling and how to better help myself. Years later I still do things I was taught because THEY WORK. If you go to In Motion, you will not only learn what will help you, but you'll work with people who truly care and want to see you get better. Thanks for all you guys do!

Read moreI started going to In Motion Physical Therapy in January 2025 after deciding to forgo surgery for a sports hernia and commit to physical therapy instead. At the time, my body was not in the best place. I had my sights set on running the Boston Marathon in the spring, but I was honestly unsure if I’d even make it to the start line. Working primarily with Sara, I always felt supported, challenged, and most importantly like she genuinely cared about my well-being. Week by week, I progressed steadily. My confidence in my body grew alongside my strength, and by the time Boston came around, I not only made it to the start—I ran 2:18 and placed 44th.
After Boston, I kept coming back, not just to address any aches or pains, but to keep building on the progress I’d made. The atmosphere in the office is uplifting, full of dedicated women who are not only exceptional at their craft but who also live inspiring lives that reflect a true commitment to excellence. Although I no longer go regularly because I moved, I know I will always have a place to return to if needed.
If you are willing to be consistent and put in the work, you will not be disappointed by what In Motion Physical Therapy can do for you. It was truly a joy working with everyone in the office, and I wish them nothing...
