Well first off to the owner that white glove service must be for certain people only I came in yesterday first day of football Sunday my modem wasn't working I needed to exchange it so I'm told by customer service. This location is open at the deer Park avenue is the first week of football so I'm heading there it's 4 p.m. they close at 5 I go there the guy try to talk me into upgrading my service when it wasn't working with the payment on giving no thank you and then on top of that I guess this is the white glove service he gives me a modem that doesn't have a router built into it's not as far as I remember cablevision been switching that over at least five years ago to modem plus the router all-in-one so they can charge you 15 to $20 my point is he purposely gave Mia modem that doesn't have a router inside of it knowing that I would not be able to use it except for a plug into the computerfree me to tell me somebody that is well over forty years old then working at that store for years didn't know the difference between a modem and a modem router he didn't see it on the computer when he pulled up my information what I had he didn't notice what I was exchanging was a modem router not a modem? Little problem is people think they could do dirt back stuff and get away with it just because they are of a certain whatever but that's what you have there a groom middle-aged man that doesn't know his left from his right foot wonder how long he's been working there if that's the case you have somebody really stupid running your store doesn't even know the difference of a modem and a modem router which is what I handed to him and he handed it back something I gave him the benefit of the doubt I thought it was a modem router that was built a little smaller even with the instructions I would have to scan a barcode he said and follow that so by me just giving him the benefit of the doubt of being a middle-aged man with common sense I thought he was you mean to tell me he gave me an obsolete modem that hasn't been in use in years because it's been replaced by the router modem just made a mistake or was he...

She helped me with everything that I needed. I literally saved hundreds of dollars, and now I have peace of mind. She was so helpful to me and I never felt rushed, even though the store was closing in the next hour.
I had a million questions and issues with my account. Argelia listened to everything, answered everything, and explained even more. She had such patience, kindness, and she reassured my understanding with every issue.
I had to move apartments. Phone representatives gave me all sorts of misinformation about my account. They said the service would be ended on the correct date, they said the disconnect was official, and I wouldn’t be charged anything additional because of how Optimum payments work. Not true! I had email bills and paper bills that were charging me, the amounts were different, the amounts were ridiculously high, and they didn’t stop. I was so confused, worried, and freaked out.
Argelia calmly and patiently looked at every bill and screenshot that I showed her and listened. She investigated all of the charges and set every single issue straight. She told me the true and correct information about my account and returning my equipment; I returned my equipment with her. Obviously, she saw all of my worries and she even encouraged me to hold her responsible for my returned equipment when she gave me my receipt! That’s how you really KNOW someone is confident in what they’re doing and guarantees their work! I really wish I would’ve gone into the store and talked to Argelia in the first place! Read moreI had such a great experience at the Optimum store in N. Babylon. I first encounter was several days ago when we were helped by Abdule and he was so kind and knowledgeable! We then had technical issues requiring us to call customer service and had a terrible experience, we have never been so disappointed in the lack of professionalism or customer support (and we’ve been customers for 7yrs). After getting no where on the phone for over 6hrs with 6 reps, and unable to get a supervisor on the phone, we still had no resolution so went back into the store! Everyone there was so kind and understanding, especially a rep named Jelly! She got the right person on the phone and sat with us until everything was addressed and taken care of. Even though it was another hour + on the phone, it was the most pleasant experience because of the staff and Jelly!
