Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I’ve been going here for YEARS & every time was GREAT except TONIGHT. I politely asked a server when fresh chicken wings were coming out, she looked with a attitude and said there’s some there which were 5 old ones left. She then said 20 min, so I waited 30, to see she put literally 5 to 7 fresh ones. So I politely asked a different server, she said 5 min & still nothing. So I went to the front desk, he said 10 min, I kept seeing them peeking out the kitchen for me. So I got upset and just went to check out, with pretty much NOTHING in all 4 trays I came to fill up. Once the man at the front noticed my very familiar face, he says I’ll take $3 off. I felt so insulted I just walked out. My mom and niece were with me. This is not just over chicken, it was how I was treated and what that server did was extremely petty. I know by me NEVER coming back there again, isn’t going to make a difference; but putting this out there for all to see, might grab somebody else’s attention to how I was treated and give me some feedback on it. But I PROMISE I will NEVER go back to this place ever again and it’s sad because I ALWAYS tell others about this place and spend lots of money here. I don’t ask for special treatment ever, but I ask to be treated with the same respect I give at all times even when upset. I could of cursed at them or got loud and obnoxious, but my mother taught me better than that. I’m honestly more upset that I’ll NEVER be going back here, but my respect is more important. I was there at 9pm they close at 10:30 and a party of 7 came in the same time as me plus I saw other large parties coming in as well as the place being already crowded so I know new stuff was coming out. NEVER HOST ANYTHING HERE! THE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT HOLD TO THEIR CONTRACTS NOR DOES THE STAFF PROVIDE PROPER SERVICE! I AM ONLY RATING ONE STAR BECAUSE ITS THE LOWEST GOOGLE ALLOWS! I booked the large event space for my best friends Baby Shower on a Saturday afternoon. Initially I requested the small room but the hostess encouraged me to choose the larger private room. "It has a stage, you'll have more space" the hostess told me while adding "If you choose the smaller room and you have more than 36 guests you will have not have room enough for them but here you ave the whole room." so we booked the larger room. Imagine my surprise on the day of the party to find casual diners in the room I booked! Suddenly we no longer had the whole room and they had never promised it to us despite their contract. It was only when I became angry that they moved us to the smaller room I'd requested from the beginning but told me that the party would be 30 minutes shorter due to the change! The server was terrible at bringing plates , cups, drinks, and cutlery and the staff was less than helpful at trying to resolve the issue THEY CREATED. In the end they demanded extra money to keep the same time they had on paper with us and were in general horribly rude. I chose this place because it was a favorite of my best friend and I know that her boys (she is having twins) are happy when she has a good meal. But this...has soured everything. I will never go there again. Nor will she or our family. While the event was saved , it was NOT due to this place or its staff. They nearly ruined a joyous moment for my family....so I cannot say enough how little regard I have for them. DO...

Sharing a parking lot with Buffalo Wild Wings, it's crowded and limited on a busy night, even though the space seems ample. We parked all the way in the back, a distance away. Lobby area was welcoming with a decorative pond, however the host, not so much; never looking up from his phone, we were supposed to "assume" to follow him, where he led us to our table, and never looked up from his phone. Very large restaurant area, as well as a decent size, separate party room. The restaurant appeared clean, as well as the actual buffet, considering it was a busy Friday night. Initially, we ordered 1 regular coke and 1 diet coke. Upon arriving at the table, the drinks were left with straws, nothing marking each drink, and we had to reorder. There was a pleasing variety of food, surely everyone could find something to eat. Salad bar as well as mixed salads had many choices. Typical, basic Chinese buffet items, in addition to American offerings. I sampled many things; some were piping hot, others were warm, others cold. My personal favorites were the seafood options. I enjoyed the crayfish, crabs, and baby clams. I had one of the large prawns, which was excellent, I was just done cleaning my food to eat. The LoMein, pepper steak, and dumplings were good as well. My husband enjoyed the clean and peel shrimp; they were a nice size. He also enjoyed the spare ribs, fried chicken wings, crab ragoon, and teriyaki chicken.
