Found a Great place to fix my computer on Deer Park avenue in North Babylon, the name of the shop is "Digitcom Computers" I'm so happy and pleased with the outcome of service price and honesty of the owner Ben. My computer has needed work for over a year, the hard drive had to replaced, however, I have had a fear of someone charging me a crazy amount of money for unnecessary work. The owner Ben showed me things about my computer I just never knew, his instructions alone were priceless! I now operate my computer differently because of his instructions and advice. Oh! And all my data was transferred and saved. I realize the advantages of taking my computer to a small store vs going online and or going to a larger store, where service isn't personalized. In the pass, I have called Dell, they are like robots who have tried to sell me another expensive warranty or a new computer and online I never know what I'm getting! I found this shop riding down Deer Park avenue, I saw the "Digitcom Computers" sign from the street and I stopped in first to inquire, I took my computer in on Wednesday and it was ready for me Thursday, Ben understood that I needed it for business, it feels like a brand-new computer! From the moment I walked into Digitcom Computer, I knew I was in good hands. My computer needed more RAM. I must admit I didn't fully grasp the concept. Ben, the owner, was extremely patient with me and offered an explanation that I could readily understand. I felt like I was the only customer he had to work with that day because he focused all of his attention on my issue. He forecasted an hour for this enhancement to my computer. He was done in much less than an hour, and I was a happy customer. I also asked him if he sold batteries for my car key's remote. He carefully opened the case, and showed me the type of battery and the size. Although he didn't have it in stock, he advised me where to purchase it. During the time he worked on my computer, I bought the battery. Upon my arrival back in his store, he inquired about it. Without hesitation, he opened my key fob again and inserted the new battery into its delicate space. There was no charge for this kind gesture. The owner went above and beyond to help my son and I with our needs. We went in because my sons iphone14 was not working. He looked at it and told us honestly what he thought the issue was and the risks associated if that was not in fact the issue. He said that he should be able to get it done by the evening and would call the next day for pickup. The store is 7 minutes from where we live. By the time I got back home around 445 I got a call 15 minutes later at 5 pm that the phone was finished and I could come pick it up at 530. Went right back he made sure everything worked perfect before we even walked out the door and tested everything. I was not expecting that quick of a turn around and the pricing was so reasonable. Excellent service. Very kind and knowledgeable and can tell that they truly care about their customers and giving the best service possible and honest.
