Coachella Nail Spa — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

Today was my fifth time and I complained that I thought the powder on one hand was thicker than the other. To Sue’s credit she did attempt to fix it but it very noticeable when I got home. I called to ask for it to be redone and the owner was beyond rude! By the way I only wanted one hand to be redone. She said I was never satisfied, brought up when she says she did me a favor not charging me for long nails, my nails are not long! Who charges additional money for regular length nails. I was not going to come back but I did like how Sue did my nails do I decided to give them another chance. I was not disappointed and I changed my review at their request. I then went back a forth time and was still very pleased with my service, so it is a surprise to me for this unfortunate circumstance. I have been getting my nails done for years and this was a first. Today the owner was yelling at me on the phone and told me she was absolutely not redoing my nails. Someone has apparently told this woman she was the only nail salon in Long Island. I love the way Sue does my nails but I will not be disrespected, that is unacceptable! I will not be spending my money with this rude woman anymore! For the record I’m changing my review simply because the owner was extremely rude, and unprofessional! I have been coming here for a few months and they always did an amazing job. I called to make an appointment and was informed that the woman I usually see is no longer working there, which was fine I said I would see someone else. I went in and James took care of me he was a very rough taking off my previous powder gel and used the drill too much on my natural nails. I had a red color on prior and could still see red he said he would take care of it. I asked for my nails to be cut short and the two hands were uneven which I asked him to fix. I then asked for a glitter ombré, he proceeded to cover the entire nail in glitter and Nicole the owner had to instruct him how to do it. He then filed off the polish with the drill and when I asked if the color needed to be reapplied since he filed it off he said no. He then applied the correct glitter that Nicole showed him. It is very uneven in spots. I then at the end asked him if he could please clean the red off my fingers they were covered which happens I understand. He took a washcloth and wiped my finger I asked for a cotton swab with nail polish remover he cleaned one finger and I had to do the rest. I still have the red from the previous color on my nails and I had been there for almost 2 hours and couldn't stay any longer. I would have been fine if he would have just said can't...

I have never been so dissapointed. First time I went there the service was great they gave me nice nails with using many products and colors and it was about 80-90 dollars. I went there today to get my nails for my cousins birthday vacation and first they told me they couldn't do our designs because they were too complicated than started talking to eachother and changed there minds they told me and my cousin $60 originally while she was getting a full set and I was getting a fill-in from the last time I went then I started talking to my cousin about how sorry my mom was $60 and they said no 120 so I was very confused and she didn't calculate anything. She just looked at it and gave me a price while my other nail lady calculated it. She started talking back-and-forth and laughing with her coworker And my cousin stayed there and got a more simple nail design. French tips with two drawn on flowers, it looked nothing like her inspiration picture and she still had to pay $120 for French tips with a drawn on flower that looks like ketchup and mustard slats.
