New York Fries Smith Haven — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Food was eh. Ordered “the works”. The bacon was cold, and looked raw. I could tell it was precooked bacon that came out of a plastic bag, but typically, you’re supposed to reheat the bacon when it’s being served onto hot foods. I am trained in food safety so I would be the one to know. Instead, they keep the bacon cold, next to the condiments and veggies. The staff has no idea what they’re doing, and one in particular’s behavior was disgusting (the tan boy with the long curly hair). When I asked to swap out with a different fry bc of the raw bacon, he then replied “it’s supposed to be cold that’s how we do things here”. Okay! Won’t ever be...

Everytime i visited the store, The place was clean and had a modern, inviting atmosphere. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. It was a delicious and satisfying meal that hit the spot. What stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation. The customer service was quick and professional from many workers that stood out to me, for example Dante, Malleri and many more. They were extremely polite and helpful. My friend and I dined at the mall’s food court. Our server, Jason, was friendly and efficient. He was serving a lady with several children as we approached the counter. He made sure to give them their drinks so they could have something while they waited for a fresh order of fries to be prepared.
