This night out for so called "fine dining" was an absolute travesty. From the start, something was off. I've had meals in this franchise in all the big players including at least 5 places down south, the Caribbean, and NYC. Those were incredible dining experiences; this dump was the pits. From the get-go, the staff seemed way too interested in their cell phones. If asked a question they gave the same body language a stressed mother does when asked by her child if she can go over homework, just as she's lifting a roast out of the oven. This was not exactly what I would consider a "warm welcome". Wait, it gets worse. All along the trip to our table of 10, there was debris and food strewn in the aisle between the tables which nobody had bothered to pick up, making for lots of slipping and sliding. When we got to our seats, we were ignored for a full 20 mins until we took it upon ourselves to go to the buffet. This place was set up like a mousetrap. To reach the dishes of food, one had to angle one's arm under a large plane of plastic which was placed just above the bowls of salad etc. To even get close to the food, one had to thread the serving spoon between the food bowls and the plane of plastic hanging just above, scratching one's skin. Everybody in our group painfully scratched their forearms. Read on. Now we've all finished our salads and appetizers; we've placed the circular discs with green side up all over the table, but the waiters keep coming out of the grill area and ignoring us, going to other tables instead. Finally they start serving us, but only as the last stop on the way back to the kitchen. The result?? Some pretty bland overly rare inner portions of the meat being served since the part with the spices was served to everyone else. And when we finally were served in a timely fashion, it was evident the meats were vere very poorly spiced as well. This is interesting, especially as the salads were disgustingly OVERSPICED, with chunks of rosemary, wads of thyme, and dried parsley leaves adhered to mushrooms, olives, rice, etc, etc. Finally, we all agreed that perhaps our dogs might get some satisfaction out of the bones (which mind you had essentially no meat left on them). And so we asked the waitress if we could doggie bad the few bones (mind you, I had done this at MANY Texas De Brazils and was never refused). Her response was "I have to ask my manager". So over comes this young human with red cheeks and says that we can't doggie bag because it's against company policy as they'd be responsible if the dog choked (this is BS by the way). He then rips the dog bones off the table and semi-cordially says "Here let me get this out of your way". Can you believe that boloney? Ten people eat at a restaurant, order up plenty of wines/beers/expensive drinks, and the restaurant can't even let you take the bones home (the way for the record, some of the finest restaurants in the world do)? This is an insult to any one's intelligence. Lets face it; they didn't want to do so simply because they were worried people would come back and stuff food in containers to take home for themselves. Well, because of this ridiculous logic, poor cuts of meat, disgusting salads, filthy aisles, you (and I speak for all 10 members of our party), you can be certain I'll never come back to this...
Read moreHello,
Unfortunately my experience with this location every time I go there is always mediocre to bad, I guess that’s because I’ve been to Brazil and tried the rodiozio steak houses there and the difference in service is brutal, I wanna start by saying by quality of the service the price is wayyyy off they should reajuste the price you can’t have a high end price with a mediocre/bad service.
This is why the service is bad, starting by bringing the sides only enough for one person doesn’t matter if your table has 10, if you ask for more sides it’s always the same play ok I’ll bring it and they NEVER bring anything, idk if that’s a strategy coming from the owners or the servers just don’t care which is not fair because they’re big tip with every table.
The rodizio experience, they come to your table with Skewer ask if you want whatever they have but they’re always Clumsy and don’t care if they’ll get blood on you it’s not only rude the way they come at you but also inconvenient making a awful dining experience, lately the meat rotation is taking up to 20 min to the point that I have to talk to the manager and ask him to help me because I’m awkwardly sitting there and waiting they you think they will storm you with meat not really they come but with the same meat over and over again and gives the sense that they want you out of there, pay your bill and leave type of thing, again idk if that’s a strategy from above so people won’t eat too much.
I believe other people have the same experience that I had and maybe posting a review will make things get better, just to be clear here my intention is to give a feedback and give the restaurant the opportunity to improve.
Finally I wanna say that the food is really good the side dishes the salad bar wines etc but that’s the only reason I keep going back, many times I’m hesitant to back because I know it will be a struggle again and the experience of a great meal will be bad because of the service.
Hopefully this will reach the right people to make the...
Read moreI brought my brother in law for his birthday this was his first time going to Texas Brazil. I have been telling him about how amazing this place was. Because of my previous experience. I made reservations arrived on time and was seated right away. Then our waitress arrived to our table with an attitude she told us a quick run down of how things work. We asked her for the drink menu and she comes back slaps a bar code on the table, doesn’t say a word and continues walking. That was the last time we saw her for another 20 minutes when she comes with glasses and water we tell her we are ready to order our drinks and she rolls her eyes and takes our order. She comes back with mashed potatoes and some other thing but never says a word. Throughout the experience we only had five meat options presented to us chicken parm, sausage (we don’t eat pork), two medium rare steak opinions (even after asking for well done), and a leg of lamb. All while our waitress was arguing with another waiter towards the kitchen door. When she finally arrived we asked for some more mashed potatoes she told us they did not have any more after seeing my face of discontent she asked if we would like anything else I said no just the bill. The manager came to our table and asked if everything was fine we told him it was okay because I didn’t want to make a show In front of my brother in law and my sister. But I was so angry because I was so excited to show them this restaurant but it really disappointed and I felt embarrassed. On the ride home they said the waitress looked like she had a long day. I asked how was the food and they jokingly said that it was not all that I...
