Holiday Treasures — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

Store itself was nice, however we had a very strange experience there. I was out with my Mom & Aunt, my Mom saw some wine glass ornaments & laughed and said “I’m going to give you a glass of wine” they were crammed onto a hook, all she did was point to it & because there were so many on the hook, one fell, and it was glass. A girl came around, we apologized, asked her if she wanted us to pay for it, she said nothing. She picked up the bigger pieces of glass but left smaller pieces & all the liquid on the floor. By this time my mom had left. I asked her again if she wanted us to pay for it & now she says YES. She actually walked out into the mall tracked my Mom down & said you have to pay for it but I’ll give you half off.?????? We said it was an accident, we didn’t even try to take one off the hook, then she said it was “store policy” then she said she “only worked there” ????? Usually those types of ornaments are plastic, when we first offered to pay she said nothing but then hunted my Mom down.
