Mattress Firm Outlet - Lake Grove — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

I went to this store and met a woman named Brianna who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on everything there is to know about mattresses. Whenever I buy anything from a store especially a big purchase I never like dealing with salespeople because they are always so pushy on getting you to buy something because they make commission and never respect people that they don’t want to rush into things. By the end of meeting Brianna I already knew I wanted the bed but I wanted to come back when I had more time to look everything over one more time and when I told her okay I will think about everything we went over and will possibly come back. She immediately was like okay not a problem. You never meet salespeople that are not pushy. I walked out that store and was so confused why she wasn’t pushy to make the sale. So I decided right then and there I would come back the next day and would only see her and then spent over $8,000 on a bed and a massage chair. I definitely recommend Brianna if anyone is thinking about getting a bed because of how she does business. I will only deal with her...

We went to 2 other mattress stores that tried to hard-sell us beds that had features we didn't want and were above our price range. One of them offered to measure our heads to find perfect pillows for us. We didn't want that, we wanted a basic bed - no copper, no heating or cooling, no gels or vibrations. Just a bed.

We went to a busy MattreessFirm store and browsed while they finished with other customers. The salesman answered our questions in simple terms and understood what we were looking for and suggested two mattresses - one hybrid and one inner spring. And both in the range of what we were looking to spend.

To make a long story short, we purchased a king sized bed from MattressFirm. As part of a promotion it came with an adjustable foundation, free delivery and installation. And they would take away our old mattress.

The first available delivery day was today - a week after we bought it. Even after a storm that dropped 2 feet of snow on us the delivery crew was here early, set up the foundation and mattress in less than an hour and hauled away the old bed.

What was once and incredible experience at Mattress Firm quickly turned to the worst. We ordered a mattress that was on sale for 60% off. The whole experience ordering was exceptional with Nicholas. I was approved for the mattress firm store credit card. Until the day we were supposed to get the mattress is when everything turned into a nightmare. Due to flooding, we were told the mattress would be arriving on our moving day; we are moving out of state today. We then get a call from Nicholas telling us the warehouse said they wont deliver our mattress as well as other mattresses that customers are waiting for because it “wasn’t worth the trip” to deliver to the Lake Grove store which makes ZERO sense. So, I have a hard inquiry on my credit for a mattress firm credit card, and now receiving no mattress because customers aren’t worth the trip? If they truly cared for our business as well as many other customers, we would have gotten our mattress today. Shame on the district manager for not...
