Duchess Cookies - Smith Haven Mall — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Duchess Cookies has good products. The baked goods are great. But the service when I went was absolutely horrible. We ordered through Uber eats pick-up. It was not Uber’s fault- that the store did not have their product in stock. I had ordered a croissant cookie and a Dubai chocolate cookie. They said they needed 10 minutes to bake the croissant cookie. Okay. Waiting for 10 minutes is permissible. I was fine with that. But we waited for almost 40 minutes. And when we came around again, they did not even try to problem solve. There was no empathy, no thought, no consideration that we had waited THAT long for it to be ready. Did I expect an extra pastry, or a gift card, or credit type of situation to happen..? YES - because that is good customer service… the young guy that finally packed the two cookie products, assumed we came late to pick it up. But no- we had been waiting 37 MINUTES… he asked if we still wanted it…YES we still want the product we paid for/waited for..?? He said: “well it’s done now- here.” in a way where it came off as: ‘what else do you guys want from me?’ Maybe even a sincere sorry..?...

Let me say this. We were going to get 1 cookie, then 2, then 3…. We bought 8. Realistically I had no interest in it but the customer service is so great, and it’s a local up and coming buisness I couldn’t help but support

G is the goat, and literally the best salesman on the planet. The cookies were great, indefinitely had my favorites and the ones I couldn’t help do without. In my opinion the classic chocolate chip was ridiculously on point and I personally really loved the red velvet. You may disagree with the price of a cookie…. Until you try it!

Great idea to bring to any party or event you go to. You will be the talk of the party. Most importantly these cookies are NOT, I repeat, NOT packed out with chemicals like their competitors.

This place is AMAZING, I’m not a huge sweets person so when my friend wanted me to try this out I was definitely a little hesitant. First things first, the employees there were so kind, bubbly and overall extremely wonderful. My friend and I tried the Dubai chocolate cookie which was exquisite, so Krispy and Creamy at the same time, the s’mores cookie was delish, had a little cinnamon warmness similar to a graham cracker that just made the flavors melt in your mouth. Such a great experience in so many ways. Not to forget their ice cream!! My new favorite flavor on the planet will forever be the Raspberry vanilla swirl. 10/10 cannot wait to recommend this place to...
