Amazing flavors, vibe and space. George resonates a warm, welcoming energy. Being a recent transplant from NYC, I was ecstatic to find a place that offers some familiar flavors that are rare finds up here. I got the jerk chicken over rice; the meat was perfectly cooked and succulent (note it was boneless and juicy). Seasoning was on point. The shredded carrots and peeled cucumber that accompanied the dish were tasty, as well as the sauce (which I believe to be yogurt based). The yellow rice was both fluffy and had a nice, subtle al dente texture. George was able to accommodate a vegetarian version as well with oyster mushrooms. Equally flavorful. absolutely the best place in town!! the owner is just incredibly sweet, will make the best creations for you based on what you love!! My fiancé and I come by here every year on our trip up to the catskills and it’s one of the things we look forward to most!! The açaí bowls of any kind are a must have, and the oyster mushroom dishes are incredible so definitely don’t miss out on the hot food too! We come here and feel nothing but love and joy in the atmosphere and the food!! if you’re in the area you would be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping by and giving this small business some love!! I guarantee you will love anything you try! Can’t wait to come back...

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and paid $49 for two smoothies and a sandwich. The sandwich itself was decent, but the smoothies were not good. What made it worse was the environment — dirty tables, air grates underfoot that felt unsafe, and I even noticed a fly on a rag in the kitchen along with three more on the TV inside. The staff that morning seemed disengaged, which didn’t help. I’ve noticed a lot of positive reviews mention George, so maybe I just came at the wrong time, but my experience felt overpriced and unsanitary. The only reason I gave more than one star is because the sandwich was okay — otherwise it would have been one of the worst café...
