UPDATE: Let me say that I received a call from one of the owners of Dunk & Bright. He informed me that he reads all reviews. I was letting off steam not expecting a response. Especially from one of the owners and so quickly. I truly appreciate and respect that!!! Long story short Everything was a misunderstanding. The information I was given was incorrect! It was all explained to me in a respectful manner. I can't really explain how that made me feel. I felt like my thoughts and feelings mattered. Thank you ❤️. Going forward I now know what to expect. My salesperson Amee was also on the line. Oh Yeah! Check her out if you ever shop at the Clay store. She was super nice, patient and professional!! My grandkids were with me and the thought the store was a playground 🤣😂😅. Overall Dunk & Bright never disappoint, that is why I was so upset. I called and spoke with the rep after my furniture was dropped off in my driveway and was told that because I have an enclosed porch that it would have been an in-home delivery. So they did they're job because of the option I elected!!! So Read The Fine Print. She kept saying that they did they're job based upon what I elected....Before my delivery, I called and asked about the furniture being delivered to my porch because I had to work. I was told by this same person I spoke with today that as long as there was no fire hazard, there would be no problem with my request. I cleared my porch of everything. There was no call before coming as I was told there would be and that someone had to be there. I had my daughter come to my house for the delivery; she saw the delivery guys leaving and tried to stop them and was told by them this is what was on the paperwork and left. Originally, we picked out a bedroom set (bed frame, dresser, chest, and 2 nightstands), and when it got delivered (2 pieces were backordered), the nightstand was not what we wanted. On the floor, they had 2 different types. I wanted both to match and just 1 drawer. What we received was the two drawers' version. (They did invoice us for the 2 drawers' nightstand, the salesman put the wrong product down). Dunk n Bright was not willing to do anything but take it back and get the one we wanted. It was here, and I didn't want to wait, so we agreed to keep it. We paid the full retail price for them, too. Fast forward a few weeks. The backorder items come in. They set up a delivery date and time, between 11-1. They call at 1245, saying they are having car trouble and they are going to be late. They did end up showing up around 3 o'clock. They brought in the nightstand first. It's the wrong nightstand. It only has one drawer. I wanted matching nightstands, remember? I did want the one drawer originally, but when they messed it up and charged me and brought me a 2 drawer nightstand, we kept it. The invoice very clearly states two 2 drawer nightstands. So they take it back and bring in the backordered chest. The chest is damaged beyond repair. I wasted a day off sitting here for a delivery that couldn't happen. Meanwhile, the same exact set goes on clearance while this is going on and is now half the price. Joe Bright reached out via email. Claimed that he's embarrassed by this whole thing and then does nothing to try to rectify the bad experience. I did get the chest and correct nightstand about 6 weeks later. Read moreBought 2 twin XL mattresses which ended up being 5” thicker than the temperpedic we had. My bad, owned up to this even though salesman should have alerted us is this. Three days later we ordered 2 new Beautyrest adjustable bases and headboard brackets. When delivered the installers did not install the straps which keep the beds together and headboard brackets were backordered. At least 8 phone calls and finally 4+ weeks later they came to install the straps and brackets. Installers did not have a clue, after 30 minutes I had to tell them how to install. It was really quite obvious. Brackets were not adjusted correctly and they damaged the connection strap they installed before tackling headboard bracket. Note: only one of the two straps supplied with frame were delivered. I had to basically redo most of what they did on headboard bracket so that the headboard was centered on the mattresses and mattresses did not rub hard on headboard when head was raised or lowered. I will have to replace the connector strap also. On top of all this the installers severely scratched my hardwood floor and the second of the two mattress pads bought with the mattresses was finally delivered, six weeks after we got the mattresses. The sales people could not have been nicer. The staff we talked to about the missing Straps and headboard brackets were mostly clueless. The installers and young men with no experience or training. I guess the can carry furniture into a house but set up/ assembly is beyond their capabilities. IF YOU BUY ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES ASSEMBLY...
