We shop at Famous Brands in Watkins Glen a few times each year. We love wadering around and checking out every section of clothing , accessories, boots, shoes, and all kinds of footwear, socks ,and slipper socks. As we wander floor to floor and section to section we always end up with an arm load of things to buy. The clerks are so nice and they let you give them your puke to hold. They will fold everything up neatly while you continue to shop. This saves time at the check out. You will love finding North Face, Colombia, Carhartt,Foxx, and other cool brands that you love all in one store. Every product here is top notch. You will find the warmest indoor and outdoor wear all under this one roof. You will enjoy the great local shops and restaurants, the gorgeous lake, scenic view and of course the beautiful wineries and breweries all along the highway that leads you in and out of the area. Hi , am writing because 2017 I was on vacation in your city , in walking I came across your store. I am 64 years old. I went in and discovered your three floor of great stuff .there was a women who attended me , She was straight up Awesome . 5 foot 3," or so she knew her stuff I believeshe said she had been there 15 plus years well... I ended up buying 6 pair of Redwing 5 boots and one slip up Steel toe Redwing low cut shoes .. I still have one New pair of the boots and my steel toe shoes have been Great reason I'm writing I want to buy the Redwing shoes again... and to just let everyone know this store has great products of ALL kinds. And they have great customer service , I live in New Jersey, and will reach out to them to see if I can purchase my Redwing Steel toe shoes Again....

They do have a variety of products available, but have limited sizes based on current stock. I'm a 31/32 mens pants, small or medium tops and could not find any of the carhartt or high-viz construction gear I needed. Almost all the high-viz was lg-2xl. Basically nothing of that type in women's.

It's mostly outerwear and outdoor gear for casual weekend hikers looking to spend a moderate amount- certainly not the discounts I was hoping for.

They do shine in their shoe selection, including a full wall of Red Wings, and offering Keen hikers, Carolina etc.

Atmosphere seemed stand-offish, and none of the staff wore masks. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable...
