Watkins Glen State Park Gift Shop — Attraction in Town of Dix

Really cool place with lots of cool, funny, strange, and interesting trinkets. This place has a bathroom just out side of it and is very large and clean. This building is located in the front of the park and is a great place to buy memoirs. Not to mention that their is an icecream place in the back which is nice after taking a long walk in the hot weather by the waterfalls. Lots of variety to choose from and a truly engaging experience for visitors to get glimpses of the history of the trail as well. Very kind and accommodating staff and very reasonable prices. There is a reason this park is rated 3rd in the nation. As far as I'm concerned it's a tie for 1st with Letchworth. Each has so much to offer and so much beauty. We love hiking the gorge at Watkins. My grands loved being able to walk behind the falls in the gorge and going into tunnels and caves along the way.
