Terrible experience and didn't even make it into the store. Last week My device screen and back glass had broken and I went through my warranty company asurion to have it repaired. It showed that this location was the nearest location with my parts in stock. I called this location as a backup because I work as an elevator mechanic and cannot just leave my route as I'm needed in case of emergency, when I reached someone i was told my parts were not in stock ( good thing I called). So to continue I was told they would order what I needed and they would try to overnight it but couldn't guarantee it. I understood and was told that it shouldn't take more then a few days I asked that we can keep in communication so that I can have this repair done as soon as possible. I called the next day and was told no parts which was no big deal. Called the following day and also no parts again no big deal. Keep in mind im pretty sure i had spoken to 3 different people at this point. I let the weekend pass and Call Monday so now Going on 5 days and at first no answer, I call back a few hours later a gentleman tells me they have the back glass but not the front. He says it could be because the front comes with a battery and takes longer to ship. He also said that i should try back later in the day because they receive a delivery at around 3. Understood and maintained my patience. No complaints. I should also note on that same phone call i let them know that I got an email saying that if I don't bring my device in by the 27th then my claim would be cancelled and I would have to start this whole process again. The man told me to call asurion and ask them to extend my claim. I was told by asurion that the claim should not cancel for another week and that even if it did ubreakifix should fulfill the repair and keep me informed . So as advised to I call the location back after 3 to see if I've had any luck on these parts and no answer. I try again a bit later and no answer again. No more than 5 minutes after my 2nd call I receive an email saying that my claim has been cancelled which was a day earlier than the email stated and a week earlier than asurion said it would. Who cancelled it I have no clue but it was done and asurion has informed me that they wouldn't be. I will say this is my first time ever posting a review about any company but this situation has me extremely frustrated. My final phone call the guy told me he didnt even see my information, i told him everything that has been Going on he says well we cant tell you when your stuff is coming in. So i asked if there was anyway he can find out how long its gonna take as i was told that they ordered these parts last week and his response was "no theres no way". The lack of effort to resolve my issue and help me after they made a mistake is why im writing this review.Throughout all these phone calls I never expressed any anger or impatience and all I expected was clear and accurate communication. I expressed to him that they really need to work on communication because for a week I have been told that I would be contacted and also to call in and nothing has changed. Two things I think this company may not understand. Number#1 I could have just submitted an at home repair if I thought I was gonna wait a week later to have the work done and had my phone fixed already. And Number#2 is that It is very important that I have a working phone for my line of work. Now that's not there problem because its my personal phone but it is there problem that the inventory information is inaccurate on asurions claim page. All in all it is what it is but something really didn't feel right about this and made me feel like I need to express it so hopefully this is not a recurring issue. If this is a company issue then I do not blame these workers for being put in a position where they can't provide a customer with accurate information for when their repairs can be done due to lack of shipping details and updates. Read moreI am appalled of the terrible service I received at this store. I came in last week with an iPhone 6 128GB with a home button that required a hard press to register a click. I came in and saw they were attending customers so I sat down and waited to be attended. They finished servicing their patrons but instead of attending me immediately the employees were too distracted on their phones to even look in my direction. A full 5 minute’s pass and at this point I’m wondering if they know I’m in front of them. I walk up to the front desk to get their attention and I show them my phone and the problems I’ve been having and they informed me it should be finished later in the day and they’ll contact me. I call the store 4 hours later to ask if my phone is ready, it took a few tries before I was answered first by an employee’s loud burp before I heard a Hello (disgusting). He informs me that it should be ready the following day and not today. The following day I come in and pick up my phone, and they demonstrate that the button works and when I’m handed the phone I notice that my finger isn’t automatically unlocking my phone. I ask about it the touch ID and they tell me its normal for a button replacement to result in the touch ID acting strangely. They told me a factory reset would fix it and that I should do it at home so I can back up my data. So I hesitantly leave the store and go home to back up and reset my phone. I ended up updating and touch ID still wasn’t working. So I again head back to the store (the same day I picked it up) and see the same young man, he takes my phone and looks at it and informs me that the water damage seal on my phone had been tripped and it was most likely the problem with the touch ID. I told him that I don’t let my phone anywhere near water and that I’m sure it wasn’t tripped when I handed them my phone and I don’t understand how I could’ve damaged my phone with water. He chuckles at me and passes off my explanation as an excuse, he heads to the back and later comes back to let me know that since they can’t confirm whether it was water damaged before or after repair, that it isn’t covered under their 90-day warranty. Obviously upset I ask to see someone higher up to possibly help me better than he could and he says one moment and heads to the back. 15 Minutes later, he comes staggering back with a corny smile on his face and asks how he can assist me, almost oblivious to the fact that he was already helping me. Confused I asked him if he remembered that he was assisting me with my phone. He takes a quick ponder and asks if I’m here about the cracked Samsung S6 edge. At this point I have had it with this salesman and with his store. I just take my phone and begrudgingly went to the apple store in Ridge Hill and had them service the phone. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a non-apple certified repair service. I recommend anyone looking to get their phone replaced to try anywhere but this store. Read moreNot sure where to begin but this store location and their management are very very unprofessional and if I could give no stars I would. They play games with you and not willing to come to any help after they take money from you. I came to this location from a friend referral thinking to have good customer service providing for the hefty amount paid for a screen repair back in July of 2020.
I started my history of my Macbook pro repair with them at the top of that month but didn't get it back until the end of the month 7/29 because they didn't repair my screen fully the way they are supposed to do for a paying customer especially for the price charged. I had to come back to the location twice and each time they sent it out to be fixed (The AG/third party they use they no longer use mind) wasn't done right each time.
They even issued me a credit for the back and forth so to me they are aware of the negligence of my service. When I got it back I noticed my screen still wasn't done right as my Facetime camera quality wasn't clear and didn't go back again due to not living close for me to keep going back and forth ( a human response) and I've hardly used my Macbook since until recently the end of 2021 and when I used it the repair I paid for was undone and for the price paid that shouldn't have happened because the part used was faulty.
I called back to see if something could be done about that but they refused to acknowledge my work history with them to help me with what was done. They played games with me on the phone when I wanted to speak with a manager and never got back to me when I was told I will get a call back. This is very poor customer service as nothing was done to help to even help come to some middle ground.I will be taking Legal action moving forward.
