I was searching for a fun and inclusive activity for my sister-in-law’s bridal shower for a small group that included a pregnant guest when I stumbled upon the Cupcakes After Dark event hosted by Smallcakes. I originally considered a paint-and-sip night, but this turned out to be so much better!

From the start, Tina was professional, kind, and eager to accommodate our needs. On the night of the event, we arrived with our bride-to-be and were warmly welcomed by DJ Peter, who was playing great music and setting the perfect vibe. The space was spotless, beautifully set up, and super inviting.

Tina, who is truly a beautiful and kind soul, greeted us personally and guided us through the evening. She was the most incredible host. She taught us how to decorate cupcakes, made sure everyone had drinks (including water), and even provided a charcuterie board for us to enjoy.

To say we had a blast would be an understatement. I expected to have fun, but I didn’t expect Tina and Peter to go so above and beyond to make us feel celebrated and cared for. We laughed, sipped, decorated, and danced in our seats all while decorating and enjoying some of the most delicious cupcakes I’ve ever tasted.

Most importantly, our bride-to-be had an unforgettable night. I would recommend this event to absolutely anyone looking for a creative and joy-filled experience. I’m already looking forward...

I want to start by saying that I’ve been going to small cakes bakery for 2 years now. I love their cupcakes. When I found out that they bake cakes I was super excited I figured their cupcakes are beautiful and delicious I can only imagine what a birthday cake would turn out.

Unfortunately it turned into a. Disaster! I have uploaded some pictures. I refrigerate the cake and when I took it out the next day this is what it looked like. The cake had a ridiculous amount of buttercream that it just couldn’t hold up. Now I’m not no baker, but this is pure common sense. When I cut into the cake the cake crumbled entirely! It had pounds I mean pounds of butter cream I was so confused! It was more butter cream than cake. The cake was not edible it was horrible, too sweat and honestly I could’ve gotten a tastier and better looking cake at BJs.my husband threw away $190 on nothing it was truly disappointing to say the least.

I wasn’t going to write this review but since their customer service is terrible as well, well there it is. I emailed them regarding this issue in the hopes that someone would respond to this issue, at the very least they could have offered a 50% refund but instead they ignored my email.
