I just ordered take out today, 4/27/23, grilled pork skewers and pad see ew with chicken and they both lacked flavor. I got there way before the 20-30 min window and my food was ready. I even asked the lady if it was fresh because my food was prepared way too fast. How is that a Thai restaurant makes a basic dish like dish taste so horrible. I was so hungry and looking forward to eating a satisfying meal and was left disappointed and a waste of $30. I know good food, and if you can mess up a basic dish like this I won’t even bother trying any of your other dishes. I’m sorry but the 49 reviews that I saw, whoever rated your restaurant so highly either got lucky with whatever dish they ordered or they do not know good food.
P.S. why are you putting regular broccoli and carrots in your pad see ew - stop it calls for Chinese broccoli and eggs and a protein. Don’t ruin something so simple.
4/29/23 - courtesy of the owner I tried the pork skewers and pad see ew again. The pork skewers were moist, tender, and flavorful. I didn’t even use the sauce they came with because they were just tasty. The pad see ew definitely tasted better. I will be sure to try other dishes again in the near future. I’ll do dine...
Read moreHands down the best Thai food in this area and definitely among the top in the Tri-State area. For us coming from central NJ, the scenic Hudson Valley and this Thai place is absolutely worth driving to. Food and the flavors are consistently fresh and popping. Thai cuisine is known for that. Neung Thai does it even better and the flavors here are outstanding and so memorable - you will come back. Portion sizes are very good. Plenty vegetarian options. Service has always been warm and courteous. Once we got here at closing time but they accommodated our group graciously. We always like to share our food family style so only wish their plates were a bit bigger in size because we like to sample from the many dishes we order. The place has a clean, no nonsense ambience and thank you for the calming music in the background. We can have a robust conversation without the loud music that has become the norm in so many restaurants. The mural on the wall depicting Thailand with Tuktuks ( scooter rickshaw) and other details is unique. Love you all at Neung Thai. Thanks again for the flowers. Can’t wait to be...

Full Review: We dined in at the restaurant and the atmosphere was very cozy and the staff was super welcoming. There is a beautiful mural that spans the whole back wall and some gorgeous framed paintings up on the other walls, which we came to learn were all painted by one of the cooks. Talent chef and artist!
So on to the food... now my wife and I are former residents of Flushing Queens. For those that don't know, it's THE place to get Asian food so our standards are high and Neung Thai Kitchen did not disappoint!!
We started with the curry puff, chicken satay, and shrimp rolls which were all delicious. I especially loved the shrimp roll, deep fried spring roll with shrimp inside? Sign me up!
For entrees I had the massaman curry which was phenomenal and my wife had the tom yum soup, which she said was the best she's ever had. Coming from her that is high praise for sure!
5 stars, I would absolutely recommend and we will 100%...
