I've visited this location on multiple occasions and every time I come in, I leave with something. I think that the store is well kept and taken care of in terms of cleanliness and organization (to an extent), and that they have the best baby clothes for wonderful prices, but I still do have some suggestions for this thrift store to become better.
(1) You can tell that they look up some prices for items (mainly electronics) on Ebay based on their price tags. Coming here for "thrift" prices on electronics other than DVDs/CDs is a mistake.
(2) Their organization for their clothes is fantastic, but a lot of other stuff is spread out. If I am in the baby and children's section, I do not want to have to walk to the front or other side of the store to see baby items like rockers, etc. and toys. It would be nice if everything was localized to one place per category. As for electronics, DVDs and CDs are in the back, but everything else is in the front. I think the store would benefit more from taking the toys, etc. off the top of the clothing shelves and putting them where the shoes are and taking the shoes and putting them by the clothes... little things like that!
(3) CLEANLINESS of BAGGED ITEMS. A lot of this stores toys, sports equipment, anything in bulk, comes bagged. Yesterday, I was looking through a bag of toys and there was a bug crawling around in it. They also do not bag their toys according to what kind they are. For example, they have hot wheels and little people together, or boys and girls toys mixed in one bag.
Otherwise, the staff is wonderful and they offer great weekly deals on certain color-tagged items. I frequently come here and will continue to most likely if they make these changes, but honestly, garage sales have been better for deals this summer than thrifts have been (in...
Read moreThis is definitely one of the better chain thrift stores around in terms of selection, I’d say more 3.5/5. I shop here frequently. I appreciate the coupons and discounts they give . They have a nice selection of Knick knacks . You can get some really nice things, if you get there before the resellers who might as well be employees at this point. I don’t mind the sorting by color and they seem to have stepped up the cleanliness/ organization of the store recently. I will def say a lot of the pricing is shameful, considering they are donated items. The marker pricing is also infuriating, I have a nice pair of shoes with leather bottoms and a stained $7.99 on the bottom! The floor/register staff are unpleasant and rude as others have said. You’re just trying to shop but maneuvering around them and browsing will get you some dirty looks and attitudes. Honestly , it’s the worst part about shopping here and can’t name a single time any of the ladies on the floor were friendly . I prefer the friendliness, welcoming and prices of the smaller thrift in the area but this one has a lot of potential if you can tolerate...
Read moreThis store offers 50% off on select color price tags that change every day and they even offer Senior Discounts to 50+ and over on select colors that also changes every Wednesdays. After visiting this store several times a week for the past 2 months particularly looking at jeans. I had noticed majority of the tags were purple so I figured I'd wait until a day when purple tags were on sale so I would call every day to get the colors for that day. On the day that purple tags were at 50% off, I stopped at the store to only find out that almost all the jeans tags were a different color so they would not be 50% off. I said it out loud while searching the rack and another customer said "you noticed that too " I mentioned it to a cashier what I noticed and all she did was smiled and said yes, they do. I don't understand why they are changing the tags when they are getting the items are being donationed to them. I thought thrift stores was to help people purchase lightly used stuff at cheap prices. Guess that is...
