This is what we've been waiting for!
There's so many great bubble tea shops in Queens and NYC as a whole, but limited options here in Nassau County. What a treat this is for it to be right in our neighborhood.
It's located on the same lot as Lidl, Alexa's Dance Academy and Frantoni's on Hempstead Turnpike. Currently it's kind of hidden because it doesn't have any signage as the other more established spots, but it's in between Frantoni's and World Gym. Apparently the place used to be occupied by Lemon Tree.
The owner Jin is really nice and we had a pleasant conversation. He recommended me the fruit tea drink and we got a large Mango Tea along with a Jasmine Green Tea — both with bubbles. I forgot to ask if there were any options to make it less sweet, but I would say that the sweetness was pretty spot on for me (as for a treat). If I were to drink it on the regular, I'd probably decrease the sweetness if I can just a tad.
We ordered two larges, but Jin was gracious and gave it to us in four mediums instead. This way, I was able to easily share with other people I had in mind.
As for how it tastes, I'll leave you what my elementary school-aged daughter thought: "Wow. Awesome! This is a 10 out of 10 for me." 🤣
We hope this is a start of more bespoke spots like The Early Bird Cafe and less of Kung Fu teas of the world. Thank you Jin! We can't wait...

Update: So I have been going there for the last 3-4 days in a row for a cappuccino and I get a double espresso for my brother. The owner is very nice and he obviously cares about his customers. I look forward to going there more often and trying his other menu item. The food looks fresh and delicious so anybody looking for somewhere to go that's quiet and peaceful with great customer service and great menu items you need to try here. The owner has been working really hard to keep this place open and get the word out so go try The Early Bird Cafe. Soon after he opened the stupid owners of the plaza built a pillar right in front of his new business which makes it hard to see that there's a business behind it so I'm trying to get the word out to people to go try it. Again the owner is a really nice guy just trying to run a successful business and make a living. I'll definitely be back I know that. I've been there for the past 4 days and looking forward...
Read moreAbsolutely worth the visit!! The coffee was incredibly delicious. We got a skim and regular cappuccinos and taro bubble tea. All drinks were 100% delicious. Additionally, the pastries were so delectable!! The owner was so sweet and gave us an incredible deal on the brownies and cookies. We tasted it and it was 10/10. As if the food and drinks weren’t enough, the service was incredible. The owner was such a sweetheart in his words and actions. He told us about his journey as a business owner and his dreams for this coffee shop. This is what many of the coffee shops lack in NY—personal human connection. The Early Bird Cafe is the rare NY coffeeshop which creates the perfect atmosphere for beautiful human interaction over good food and coffee. 10/10 would recommend. I am definitely coming back and bringing...
