GameStop — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

Never going back to this store. My husband specially ordered his playstation there, spending over $500. While he was there, he accidentally left his license at the register. No one noticed before he left the store. When he finally realized a couple days later and realized it must've been there, I first called the store and was just told that they had no licenses there. Later on when he called, they said that they had discovered his card but due to store policy after 2 days they send it to their regional manager to be destroyed. He asked why no one had tried to contact him, they lied and said they had. We have been calling corporate and have been given the run around for days about the matter. I am writing to report an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your store. One staff member accused me of stealing an empty box. When I explained that I had brought the box into the store with me, he responded, “I didn’t see you with a box.” It is worth noting that at the time, he appeared to be watching a cartoon on his phone and laughing, rather than attending to customers.

Later, when I asked him about the Switch 2, he replied, “I am tired of people asking about the Switch 2,” in a dismissive tone.
