FINAL UPDATE: Now that the dining room is open the lines have gotten better. Let’s face it, this place is ALWAYS going to be busy at peak hours (lunch rush, after work/ school hours) I will compliment them the last few times that I went during peak hours, they have gotten ALOT better and quicker. I’ll keep coming because they definitely improved.
UPDATE: Okay so, I am writing this as I’m waiting in line at Chick-fil-A for my food. I’ve tried to give Chick-fil-A chances. Especially this one, it’s black owned, it’s nearby, it’s my favorite chain. But my god. DONT COME HERE! SAVE 30 MINS OF YOUR LIFE AND YOUR TANK OF GAS. The line is ALWAYS SLOW and TERRIBLE. I haven’t had a problem with the actual employees. However, and I write this as I have been waiting for over 30 minutes for my order, I cannot come back here until major change happens and more so I’m telling all family and friends avoid this place like the plague. I cannot dedicate an hour of my life to mediocre FAST FOOD SERVICE. Like are you kidding me? You will waste a tank of gas sitting on the line and you’re literally trapped, so no you can’t just drive off. Honestly, I blame management and ultimately the owners. The girl who took my order was perfectly pleasant, like I said the workers aren’t the issue here, they’re clearly not given the tools they need to succeed, so shame on management/ the owners. I have literally come here on my way to work (7 am and the service is still as slow as molasses, how is that even possible) I want this place to succeed. But when the CFA on Atlantic avenue in Brooklyn has better, faster service than a suburban Cfa, you know it god awful. I rather drive to Westbury. Do better. Pathetic.
Let me just say that traffic has been backed up there MONTHS before this CFA was even up, it started with the traffic lights on rockaway turnpike. Pretty sure most of those comments a trolls/spam/ competitors. No one complained about the random monster building next door that took months to build🧐Anyway the actual restaurant review, it took me no time to get into the place and have my order taken, obviously the staff is still being taught, the worker was super nice and efficient, the line moved quickly and my chicken minis were delicious and my coffee was made just the way I like it. I’ll be here multiple times. Perfect location as there are no other fast food places on this strip other than the McDonald’s way down going the opposite way from the city. Read moreWent this morning for breakfast passing through the area (not usually around there) and actually read reviews BEFORE going there. Most “bad” reviews were petty where ya wanna tell ppl “stay home and don’t order out EVER”- Anyway, I went in, the workers were happy and nice. I believe name was Nayla (which I found out was the mngr from other reviews) was professional greeting me and taking care of the order which was great all around. I actually give a few bucks to ppl in the fast food industry cuz usually nobody does while we tip everyone else! I ate some in the car and went home to finish up. All was good, food was made nice and tasted fine. Fast forward to 12 hrs later…. I realized that for the first time in 30 yrs I lost my credit card and remembered paying with it at this location. I looked all over, never finding it. I checked for any fraudulent charges and there were none. Last transaction was at this location. I called up, spoke to a professional female asking her about my credit card- She said they did find one and asked for my name which matched. I drove over there and it turned out to be the same lady (Nayla) that not only remembered me when I walked in but had the card safeguarded for me. Would give her 10 stars if I could for the professional attitude towards myself and you can tell she was running a tight ship- Another amazing thing to me is like I stated, she was STILL THERE 12+ hrs later on wearing a smile!!!!! The place is packed and I’m sure there are times ppl are in there that give them a hard time which I would never play with ppl PREPARING YOUR FOOD!! Only negative thing I can say about this place would be unfortunately from the customers that leave garbage all over (more out front) and wipe their hands all over the glass. Would definitely come back here knowing they are close by and tell others to give them a break, food businesses are hard enough they don’t ppl coming in thinking they own the world. Read moreI wasn't aware a Chick-fil-A opened in the area until recently. I read the reviews and was eager to patronize. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed after having high expectations. It took over an hour to get our food which was prepaid for on the app. I should have left but I wanted to see this absurdity through. After waiting in line for an hour, once I got to the window several items had to be refunded as they weren't available. The fries were extremely cold, the mac and cheese inedible and the lemonade was lukewarm and repulsive. At this point I felt scammed out of $60, everything that could have gone wrong - did. This Chick-fil-A is within 15 minutes of our home. The Westbury (Old Country Road) location is 35-45 minutes out. Thankfully, the Westbury location is organized. The food tastes better and the wait time is not outrageous as Rosedale's. I truly hope the operator/owner and his staff find a solution(s) to the countless problems their restaurant is facing. The location is ideal and I'm sure with improvement it can flourish. Regretfully, my experience was memorable, negatively. It's honestly the worst experience I've had at ANY fast food establishment.
EDIT: I visited again hoping this location could redeem themselves but unfortunately I was disappointed - again. I ordered for pick up at the drive thru, once I arrived it wasn’t ready so I was told to park in front. Ten minutes later the food arrived but I am missing three fries and a mac from the order. Rather than rectify, the worker brings the manager out, who proceeds to argue that she indeed placed the fries in the bag - then proceeds to go through the bag. Realizing her mistake (and incompetence), both workers walk inside and the initial worker brings out the missing fries. Also, in the app when ordering a wrap you are allowed to get two dressings. However, even if you’ve selected two in the app, this location will ONLY give you one and advise that you have to pay for the second dressing.
