I feel so lucky to be part of the Women’s League and to learn from the amazing Lisa Scotti — not only a top-notch manager but also a true professional. My pickleball journey at Sportime Westbury has given me a real sense of belonging — it’s been exciting and rewarding from the very start. Lisa has been absolutely incredible. In addition to running the Women’s League, she even set up a separate court just to teach us proper techniques and always pays attention to every little detail. You can really tell she cares and genuinely wants everyone to improve. Every class with her is fun, energetic, and totally unique. Lisa dedication over the past six weeks is the reason the Westbury Women’s League came together so smoothly. Thanks to her (also Olga F~one of the player who arranges the match)— I’ve met so many great players and this amazing mix of people from all walks of life — now have a group of friends I get to practice and play with regularly. I honestly look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays each week — can’t wait to hit the court, break a sweat, and just have a blast playing pickleball. I’ve also joined the monthly Happy Hour events, which are part of the members’ perks — each one has a fun, creative theme, and Lisa brings it all to life with her passion and enthusiasm. It’s the perfect combo of social fun and light competition. The facility at Sportime is excellent — brand new, super clean, great lighting, and fully equipped whether you’re training hard or just playing for fun. And the front desk team — Wisely, Dennis, Michael, Tyler,Richard and Lia G — always friendly, helpful, and professional. I am very very happy Sportime opened in Westbury. The location is very easy to get to the parking is plentiful and never an issue. I’ve been a member at the Westbury location since they opened and I have to say the club is great the courts are laid out very well and the lighting don’t get me started but I have to say they did an absolutely great job on lighting. I’ve played at many indoor courts not only on LI but up and down the east coast and this is the BEST lighting anywhere!!!! The light is bounced off the bright white ceilings reflected down on the courts and there is no blinding doing over heads and no dead spots on the courts. The staff there Lisa, et al, are sooo friendly and accommodating. Lisa takes care of any and all our needs happily and are always around if we need her. Lisa has made the club warm and welcoming so much so even after playing we sit around relax and engage in conversation. The open play groups have been growing and getting competitive over the time I’ve started playing there. My friends and I have now played at SPORTIME Westbury about 10 times and I have some positives and some negatives.

The positives are that the staff is wonderful, they have free paddle rentals, and everything is clean and well kept.

Now the negatives: IT IS SO HOT AND HUMID IN THERE. We have been playing there since the winter and since it has gone about 45 degrees, inside the building is incredibly humid and uncomfortable. This has been the case every time we have gone there, even when the temperature outside is cool and not humid at all.

The bright white balls can cause your eyes to feel like they are going crossed a little. Warning for anyone with photosentivity or eye problems, this place will make you feel like your head is spinning.

My friends and I are so disappointed because we wanted to love this place. The location is great, the courts are wonderful, the facilities are nice, and the staff is great but the extreme humidity makes it too hard to enjoy play.
