STAY AWAY. FYI If you try calling corporate they hang up on you… I lived here for a year and a couple months. This building is an absolute joke. Most of the concierge are unprofessional and don’t want to do their actual job because ownership pays horrible(they even told me) The whole place feels like very hotely or a retirement home - not even remotely warm or homey. They also lie to you and say the hotel section is for extended stays of 3 months or more yet that’s not true at all.
Let’s not forget about the hallways not having heat in the winter and the numerous times the fire alarms went off at 2am.
Now most importantly they did not give me back my full security deposit. I was told by management to ask the maintenance guys (i had to pay $100) to patch up minor holes from picture frames etc so that i could get my full deposit back and that still wasn’t the case. They expect tenants to pay for wear and tear on the floors — seriously? That’s just them finding new ways to squeeze more money out of people. Building is brand new, they should have a lifetime guarantee on them. It’s not the tenants responsibility and they charged me $1400.
They claim it’s a “dog-friendly” building- another lie. I constantly got notified by mail that they got complaints that my dogs barked. Every dog in the building barks… They dump chemicals all over the dog runs without warning or signs, and the runs are destroyed and muddy most of the time. You can’t even walk your dog around the building because there are signs everywhere telling you to keep off the grass. So what’s the point?
All of this for sky-high rent that’s nowhere near worth it. Don’t fall for the photos or fake friendliness during the tour. This place is a money trap. I wouldn’t recommend living...
Read moreI lived at The Selby for a year and had an outstanding experience. The unit was modern, beautifully designed, and equipped with top-of-the-line features. The building itself is ultra-contemporary, with first-class amenities that make everyday living feel like a five-star resort. The pool in the summer is a true highlight, and the entire property is always impeccably maintained.
The service here is exceptional—every member of the team consistently goes above and beyond. Special thanks to Steven and Jenna in the leasing office and to Beth, Aileen, and the rest of the management team for that. The concierge staff, including Marc, Bella, and many others, made day-to-day life seamless and enjoyable.

Read moreWe stayed for 3 weeks at the Selby. Our experience was excellent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially Jack at the front desk. Our room had a washer/dryer, dishwasher, cooktop, microwave, and the bath had a double sink. The building foyer is bright, light, and open with lots of marble and 2 fireplaces. Our room also came with a designated underground parking space. There are several venues for relaxation such as a library and sitting area with a big screen TV, a game room for cards/MahJong with a pool table. In season, there is a large pool with grilling areas. Finally, the facility is further enhanced by a restaurant with great ambience, a fairly-priced American food menu, and a large marbled bar. All in all, a home...
