Merrick Mall — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

One of my favorite places to shop for food. It's small but efficient. The staff is not only helpful but also friendly. I stop and shop at this location 3 to 4 times a week . My only complaint is that the meat department can't cut the meat for you. I have to drive to Baldwin's Stop&Shop. Apparently, their Butchers are the only ones in The South Shore of Nassau county that are allowed to cut the meat ! P.S. I also wanted to say something about the Baldwin Store on Atlantic Ave. The main thing I wanted to say about this store is ' WOW ' ! It is big and beautiful inside. You can order food there, sit down, relax and eat it. They even have a Starbucks in this store. My only complaint about this store is that Stop &Shop doesn't have a supermarket like...

This center has a massive Stop & Shop super center with everything you can imagine, a big CVS, Gino's pizza, terrific Asian restaurant (Taka Merrick - beautiful inside and the food is delicious both for sushi and entrees), independent toy store Matty's Toys (really good selection), a nail salon, laundromat, Carvel ice cream, sandwich shop, The Little Gym for kids, Outback restaurant, a liquor store, an optometrist and a really good physical therapist. Great location, easy to access from the LIRR which is right across the street. Parking is in demand but the options here are worth it. Feels so unsafe lately, and idk who’s in charge of the mall but there are homeless people in the parking lot and there is never parking thanks to all parents waiting for there kids. This place use to be so nice, idk what is going on, Merrick mall has changed so much. I’ve been living here 22 years plus & I really hope the mall gets a good security company to cleared up the area & make it great again, Really shouldn’t have to deal with this while shopping in such...
