I took my kids to this pool on Wednesday 5/30 around 6pm when I got there I paid regular price because I dint have address prove that I live in Nassau County. I paid and I left my three kids with my sister like 15 minuets after I received a call from my sister telling me that water in the pool was 4 feet deep and my kids are very small 4,5 and 7 years old and they don’t know how to swim. I went back to pick up the kids and I was asking them to return my money because I was not aware that the water was that high because the weekend before I took them there and I did have any problem they refuse to give me my money back I asked for supervisor or manager in charge but according to them nobody was there. They very rule they don’t know anything about customer service if they know the water in the pool was that high they sure be available to let customers know before they paid. They give me and my kids a lot hard time.
They dint give us any rules from the pool for us to read or any prices or information about this place and I know the manager in charge person was in the office because they came out 10 minutes after and said we can not tell everybody everything about this place and the customer need ask if they have any questions. I didn’t think was necessary for me to ask because the weekend before I was there with my kids and I dint have any problem.
We just move to this town and I was not aware of any rules from this places. The attitude from these three employees was not right they think they own the place and also they treat people with...
Read moreThe Nassau County Aquatic Center is a beautiful facility, very well equipped, and maintained to a high standard. The staff is consistently polite, professional, and helpful, which makes visiting a pleasant experience.
However, I would like to raise a serious concern regarding the male locker room. On several occasions, I have observed older men walking from the showers to the lockers and restroom completely unclothed, even when there are many children present who also use this locker room. This behavior is inappropriate and, in certain contexts, may be unlawful.
I believe it would be in the best interest of all visitors—especially families with children—for management to address this matter promptly. A simple but effective measure would be to post clear signage in the locker room stating that towels must be used when moving through shared areas and reminding patrons that adults should not be fully undressed in front of minors.
It might also be worth considering a visit from relevant oversight bodies—such as consumer protection or child safety organizations—to ensure best practices are in place. I hope this issue can be resolved as soon as possible, as it will make the center even more welcoming...
Read moreAnne came in the training was extremely rude and disrespectful to my nephews, telling them “ you get out” not addressing me or my brother about them not being there. When I asked her not to speak to him like that she said well I don’t like thief’s!!!! In front of everyone yelling from across the room. She was yelling at other members in the same manner telling “you leave now!! Not asking for an adult ti speak with just yelling at the kids. We just just joined the 3 year membership and didn’t realize you needed a separate payment to go to the gym. Either way her attitude was rude condescending and disrespectful. I will reach out to corporate as well bc I Dont tolerate that kind of attitude anywhere ever. Calling us thief’s without asking / knowing who we are/ if we had wrist bands or any kind of acknowledgement as to who we are. Unacceptable for a tenured older employee to think it’s ok to speak to kids or adults in that manner!! I would have fired her if she worked for me. Saying as we were walking out, we don’t want you here!! Which sounds very racist if you tell any news or social media...
