Northwell Health Ice Center — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

One of the most unprofessional place you will ever go to. The staff on the ice never do their jobs UNLESS their job is to be on their phone, recording paying customers, or endanger other skaters… then I might be wrong. Every time I come here, I see something disturbing from the employees. There’s only one employee on the ice that I can say actually cares about his responsibilities. Not happy having to write this. The management keeps giving me the run around for $360. of catered food they ordered for a party in the beginning of March 2015. I had established what I thought was a good relationship by giving them $2000 of free food for their grand opening last year. At first "the check is in the mail" then it's "it will be the next check". If they cant pay a local business that supplied them with food that they ate 90 days ago their future may not be so bright. the in-house league is a joke. do not waste your time or money. the staff dont pay attention to the game, time or kids. they give absolutely no direction. first day they had 15 year old kids skating against my 6 year old. they decided to split it up after complaints. if you are looking for straight ice time, may be ok. if you are looking for a competitive league with proper coaching and timekeeping, dont come. place is incredibly nice, just run by clowns (for lack of a...
