I'm giving NYC Motor Club a 5 star review even though I didn't buy a car from them. That's how impressive Esa (the manager) is. Unlike so many other used car dealers, he is all about being honest and transparent with you.
My story is that I was in the market for a specific car and Esa had one listed on their website. By the time I called it had already been sold, but he said he had just purchased another of the same model. He needed to send it to his mechanic to fix some problems it had when he bought it at auction, but he let me first come and test drive it, and then encouraged me to come test drive it AGAIN once his mechanic had worked on it. This was my first clue about his honesty.
I liked the car, but was going on vacation for a week, so Esa let me put down a small deposit to hold it for me. He made the deposit fully refundable, because he said he wanted me to drive the car again after it was repaired and be totally happy with it before I purchased it. This was also really impressive to me.
When I got back from vacation, I learned that a private seller was selling that same model of car, but with the color and a few more features I preferred. So I purchased that car instead. When I called Esa up to let him know I wouldn't be buying from him, he was totally understanding and gave me no grief or attitude, and said he would destroy my deposit check.
From my multiple phone calls and interactions with him, it was clear to me that Esa cares about honesty and cares about doing his customers right. That's impressive in any field, but especially in the used...
Read morePlease be careful with this dealer. We like the Lexus UX Hybrid 250h AWD 2020 because it was a good deal so we chose to buy it here. We had to get a personal loan to buy the car from him and we had to pay interest monthly and he said within 2 weeks he will deliver the car and do the paperwork, we trusted him so we sent him the full amount (wire transfer) on time on 6/13/2026. After 2 weeks he did not send the car papers or send the car, then every day we asked him about our car, he kept giving us excuses why he couldn't get the done. 3 weeks passed without any progress, then we did not want to buy the car anymore and wanted him to refund all the money we sent him. He said he will return our money but we waited, waited, waited day after day. He still did not return our money. We called and texted him every day hoping he would pay us back but he didn't, and he gave all kinds of excuses. all his words were lies and deceitful. Even now today, 9/12/2025, he still hasn't done what he said. My family has had a miserable summer and we don't know when he will pay us back. I was very stressed out and nervous about using a "local dealer", but this was honestly the easiest, best car buying experience I've ever had. Very straight forward, no pressure tactics and a smooth experience. The whole crew there, Esa, Mike & Ahmet could not have been more helpful, accomodating and transparent. They all wanted me to be at-ease and happy. Any and all of my concerns were addressed, and I have been very pleased with my purchase!
