Pellegrini's Prime Meats, Fish & Catering — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

Moved here from the B/Q area where I always had great Pork stores and butcher shops. I think the product they are selling is very good. But they are not showing the customer where the meat is sourced from . Some prices are a wee bit too high ,also they need to be clearer on certain prices .I found USDA Prime at Fairways for cheaper and other organic meats in the B/Q area for cheaper. Sorry really do not want to knock this place . They stuff they are selling is good . Also at times the shop can get overwhelmed with customers. Why are they having butcher ring up produce and then we have to go to another register and be but through the same process. Seems senseless to me. It also will keep the line moving. Many also say that in the area . Go to any Meat Supreme in Brooklyn and you will see...

Just purchased $187.51 worth of steak and paid cash. I asked the clerk, presumably named Karen, to just give me two quarters so I don’t have deal with the pennies etc. She said she’s happy to do that if I had the penny, which I did not and got back $12.49, she stated “it’s only four pennies.” Kicking myself for not paying with a credit card, that would have dinged them for $3-4 in fees. I left the four pennies and instructed her to cover the next four people so they don’t leave thinking she’s a having-a-bad morning ball breaking a-hole Bad job Pelli, if you have to employ folks like Karen keep them in the back where they can’t practice awful...

We had an awesome catering experience with Pellegrini! Liz guided me in choosing the perfect menu for our event and she was so helpful! The prices were very reasonable, the order was delivered right on time, the person who did setup of the trays was professional, friendly and efficient and ( most importantly) the food was excellent. We ordered lunch for 70 people (veg dumplings, steak skewers, pulled pork, teriyaki mango chicken, potatoes with green beans, rice pilaf) and everyone raved about the food.
