I’m usually not the one to leave reviews but I felt strongly about this one.
I was super hyped when they first opened. I got 4 drinks the first time around with “less ice” because I didn’t want them to be watery. I got the oilfield milk tea, mango milk tea and 2 fallooda milk tea. All the drinks turned out watery (I drank the drinks immediately after getting them. I was told waiting a while with the signature drinks can make them watery.) with extremely subtle flavor. I was pretty disappointed. But figured it probably happened since they were overwhelmed with a lot of orders on the opening day.
So I decided to give it another shot. I went the other day and ordered 5 drinks. I specifically told the kid (I think him and his parents own the place) that last time the drink was watery. He was very nice, apologized and promised that he would personally oversee it being made.
I heard him tell the person making the drink to make sure it’s not watery. When the drinks were made, he did not end up overseeing them them as promised.
The result: Drank it immediately but it was still watery. All 5 of the drinks. And all ordered with “less ice”. I considered ordering with no idea but since the boba is warm, it would make the drink taste lukewarm. Super disappointing!
I really want this place to do well cuz it’s a great concept and the owners are very nice. But they need to make the drinks better. Especially since the price is not cheap at all (almost $10 per drink if you get their signature drink with boba).
I’ve already spent over $100 in drinks there and have been quite...
Read moreAbsolutely nastyyyy. NASTYYYY. IT'S LITERALLY WATER WITH KULFI ICE CREAM ON TOP. the vibe of the store is cute and all but still seems pretty empty but the art is beautiful. Their product is not good. It has no taste until the ice cream melts into it. Not sure about the other flavors but the desi ones were not good. Nice try tho. Like i see the effort and the idea but the drink should be thicker or like a milk base. And get new workers! LOL anyways, the aesthetic is cute and all but oh yeaaa THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE A FAIR AMOUNT OF BOBA. IT'S LIKE 3 TAPIOCA PEARLS. umm okay continuing aesthetic is cute but almost like 20 bucks for 2 is a bit much. Way better boba places out there way cheaper better quality, nicer environments. OUUUU I WANNA TRY M TEA IN FLUSHING. ITS VERY CUTE THERE. I personally didn't see all they hype ik a lot of people who were also just as disappointed. These reviews are lies I promise you. This is a genuine review and yes the store and the environment is very nice, their product definity needs work if they want to continue with this business. Anyways, I'll give you guys another chance once you've settled in but for the most part, was not impressed, did not meet my standards for boba, nor did they meet my expectations. Great idea and concept but definitely needs...
Read moreI just stopped by with my sister and cousins and all of them had absolutely positive things to say. We had 2 regular sized (16 oz) desi masala chais, 2 mango kulfi milk teas, and 1 mango milk tea, all with boba added and other customizations. The staff were really patient as we were mentioning our order.
I'm not sure about the 1 star reviews here, but they clearly seem like over-entitled folk who have no idea how opening day and opening month for a F&B business can be and I'd challenge them to try running a shop of this caliber, especially during a pandemic.
I took home one of the masala chais for my parents and they liked it. It was nice to see customizable sugar levels as my mother is borderline diabetic and wanted an option with minimal sugar.
For my desi masala chai, I overall enjoyed the taste, however the strongest notes were from cardamom. Going forward, it would be nice to see a bit more of a balance. I didn't get a strong enough tea flavor, but still enjoyed my drink nonetheless. It was also nice to see that they are dairy free. I'm still keeping my review at a 5 stars as I only expect them to go onward and upwards from here. I wish them the best of luck and applaud them for...
