Please note this is not a review of Target products but of Target customer service for same-day delivery option. I purchased 2 same-day delivery 20 inch Schwinn bikes from Farmingdale Target - they are meant to be birthday presents for my girls. These bikes were on sale for $119.99 each. I was shocked to open Target app once items were delivered to see that I am being charged $299.99 per each bike - so almost $400 over what I was supposed to pay. On the app it now said that original bikes were “canceled” and I am now being charged for 24 inch bikes which are not on sale. Please note that I was delivered the correct bikes for $119.99 each, I have photos and bikes stickers to prove it (see photos). I reached out to the shopper immediately but was dismissed and told to talk to customer service (screenshot attached). So I proceeded to report the issue on the same day to Target online customer service. After some back and forth with a rep named David, I was told I will be refunded $400 and change to my target gift card (see screenshot) - he then abruptly ended the chat, no apologies mentioned, no email confirmation that refund is on its way. Today is already a week since I ordered the bikes with no refund in sight. Last night I went to Target in Levittown to see if they can see the refund initiated on their end. I was told there that they cannot help me and I need to call customer service at 800 number. I just tried calling the number and didn’t even get to representative and instead the automated voice told me it cannot help me with this order and I need to go to the store or seek help from online Target support (both of which I already did). I love target and I shop here all the time - so I am just amazed this is happening and my $400 is being held up for 1 week already with no resolution in sight. And the best part? Target app would not let me post this review with photos if I rate 1 star across the board - so I had to post this review on Google so I am heard. If I could - I would give zero stars for a disaster of a customer service with this order. Just wow… Update: I reached out yet again to Target online chat assist since now 1.5 weeks passed since the bikes were delivered. Thankfully, I spoke to an associate Stephanie that was able to assist me and issued a refund. The not-so-fortunate situation is that she confirmed no previous refund was issued so the other associate David straight-up lied to me when he said the refund was issued. I am grateful I am getting something back but instead of reimbursing my card where all the extra money was charged, I was reimbursed the gift cards I used the make the order. I mean I will use the gift cards but now I need to pay the credit card bill out of my pocket. It’s just annoying. Target, please get it right on...
Read moreI have sadly not much good to say about this location. I love TARGET especially the one in the MidIsland Mall by the LIRR in Hicksville. Quite a bit different with comparison to parking and overall inventory at the Hicksville location. This Levittown location is quite a trip getting in and out of safely. While there is plenty of parking the nightmare when its a holiday time or just to get at times a handicapped spot is quite trying. The store itself in my opinion doesn’t have the WOW factor I am accustomed to when entering a TARGET. Its not a fun shopping trip between the fact they continually change where merchandise is located and their DOLLAR spot is non existent. Its now $3 or $5 which takes the fun out of letting the grandkids choose a little something. I find the larger size clothing to be almost non existent in regards to someone who wears a 2xl and doesn’t want to be in either all black or quite the opposite too crazy and bright colors. The dressing room is SO SMALL , too few and the women who are working there are taking care of either putting the clothing back or hanging new clothing . I think its not the place to be doing all that but to allow you to go in with a relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes it’s so crowded and busy that the lines are into the actual merchandise areas. It has helped with having the self checkout but with that being said when you have 10 registers and only 3 or 4 cashiers with these registers being open its a sad fact of how much you spend at Target and what little you get in return. I don’t get the whole STARBUCKS thing, right there on the south entrance/exit? Whose Idea was that? Is it to make it seem more upscale? I find it annoying when I think of that usable space and maybe a little bit of a bigger book area like they used to have at the north end of the store. One thing I can give a huge Kudos to , a shout out and high five is the TARGET OPTICAL at this location. Probably the only time I do come here anymore. Lindsey, Angelica and John are three of the nicest people I have met. They are warm, friendly and quite professional at what they do. I have constant issues with my eyes that effect my vision therefore my prescription changes more so than the usual year or two as with most people. So i have been coming to them for about 4 or 5 years multiple times and they have saved me big time with frames, lenses and their fittings are truly great. I will continue to come here regardless of my dislike for the location of this store and...
Read moreI called and placed the order regarding re fill on my eye contacts through the optical department. The first gentleman that I spoke to took my order over the phone and ran my credit card and I requested for them to be delivered to my house. Several days went by haven’t received them so I give the store a call back to see the status and I spoke to young lady over the phone. She said that it takes 5 to 10 business days for them to be delivered which I was not aware of, during the first conversation. (Never informed me that) I had with the gentleman because if I did knew that I would’ve expedited the order because I’m gonna be leaving to go on vacation and I wanted to get them before I left but she did mention that if the contacts don’t come in on time that they will give me a couple courtesy samples, but just come into the store to pick them up So today I went into the store, and I spoke to the manager of the optical department to tell that I still didn’t receive the contacts and I was here for my free samples. While she was looking up my account, she informed me that my prescription expired, which I was not aware of that either. Two prior employees that I spoke to over the phone never mentioned it to me that my prescription was expired and that they couldn’t fill the contacts. I was so annoyed because I was inconvenienced first of all that I had to go pick up the sample contacts and spoke two people I never got them in the mail and they never informed me about the prescription being expired. She informed me that she will be speaking to the gentleman that took my order over the phone. I said well that’s too late for me. Someone here is not doing their job properly or he’s not being trained properly so annoyed that I don’t have any contacts and they won’t be coming in the mail because my prescription expired and I spoke to two people prior before coming into the store and nobody ever told me that. not only that it was an inconvenient to me just even to get to the store I don’t live in the area. The store young lady behind the counter was so rude and nasty. Got very loud and walking around and yelling at me. Like she was doing me a favor by giving me free samples. I gave right back to her and then she threaten to call security on me. Meanwhile, people in her dept are not doing they job right . Also, never apologize for the mistake that the coworkers did. I have being coming here for so many years to pick up new glasses and contacts never had problem...
