Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

This location recently opened and is by far the worst. My first drive-through experience was cringeworthy. I was asked to pull aside for my order and complied. Unbeknownst to me, that will put you on the "pay no mind list" and 30 minutes later you will receive your cold food.

On December 1, 2023 order (#04937), my kid begged me to give this location another try. Just when you think an establishment could not get worse, it has. Initially, I was greeted my a young gentleman that took my order. He was very courteous and respectful. However, he was obviously fridged cold, since none of the six (6) outdoor heaters were operable. I subsequently proceeded to pick up my order and had another terrible experience with Khalil and two (2) teenage female (heavy set) light complexion brunette and medium complexion, tied two (2) curryhaired puffs. I was asked to pull aside for my order, but did not have another 30 minutes to spare. I informed Khalil, it was nothing against him but I would rather not based on prior experience. Nevertheless, I was prepared to deal with adolescent tactics, that enevitibly came. I observed the trio procrastinating the delivering my extremely simple order (salid and kids meal) while subsequent customers were getting served. Despite their juvenile antics, I managed to get my cold meal in 20 minutes and 10 minutes earlier then in my 1st visit when I complied. It is a shame that such a reputable company would allow this establishment to tarnish the brand. If there were only an option to give a zero star review, this...

I see what the fuss is about. its kinda like what i saw about some old school McDonald's. that bring u food to ur table.

the service is AMAZING! young leah at the counter and the girl who brought me the food, both cheerful and helpful. no sass.

my seat had some crumbs but compared to when I went to taco bell across the street with the floor littered with bags and packets and crumbs as well, it was not bad.

the ambiance amazing, I sat inside, ac. light music but there's a nice big option for outdoors. It wasn't busy but I think all those who opt for drive thru are missing out.

chicken sandwich...it was good but not the best I've had. not the worst either. but it was crafted with care. the chicken itself, white moist, no imperfections and the crisp was good. but not that big. the bun option nice. the l/t fresh. original drink was good as well.

the car drive thru seems like a nightmare even when it was not busy so luckily I can walk over and right into the place without driving and all...

Pattie was an amazing worker, I recently had the pleasure of being served by an outstanding team member at Chick-fil-A, and her service truly stood out.
