I have been coming here for years now. There are some things that need to be discussed. I went in not even 2 days ago for a UV acrylic gel which I get every 2 weeks lately, idk if there is alot of newer people who aren’t fully trained or what but no one does a second coat at the top of the nail. This happened last time and I had to go back and get a color fix and repaint the top of the nails bc it’s tnr first thing that comes off. Which I shouldn’t have to. It should be correct the first time. I go in and the lady at the front (owners wife) said we will fix it for you. No problem, no costs but the point is I don’t want to have to come back in a week for Uv acrylic nail ge” fix. And then I am told it’s no charge but to “take care of her workers “for tip. I tipped last time when it was first done I shouldn’t have to re tip to get something fixed that should last more than a few days especially UV gel which is an extra $20 dollars. Also having all the workers stand at the front desk watching over you while you write in your tips is a little much and I think they do it purposely to get better tips not very professional and very pushy . . Other wise, Sophia is great for massages and pedicures. Fenny is great with massages as is Vivian. So far though nail wise I need a new person to make sure the top of the nails are painted twice. So tney don’t come off and I have to go back in less...
Read moreThis has been my go-to nail salon for about 2 years. I spend a lot of money here and I always tip more than well. After my most recent experience I will never step foot in here again. I walked in around 5:45 looking to get my acrylics removed (soaked off) and get powder gel. Already, I could tell they were in a rush to leave even though they close at 7:30 which I looked up before I went there. I get sat down and immediately she tried taking off my accrylics with a metro card. Every. Single. Nail. I should’ve gotten up and walked out right then and there but as I know most women feel, it just doesn’t feel that easy to do. My natural nails were long and after the acrylic had been ripped off by a metro card, my nails were stubs. She then goes to put extensions on every nail but 1. All my nails aren’t even actually different sizes, I specifically asked for a color with no sparkles, the color she assured me does not have sparkles. All in all, now I have nails that are all different lengths, sparkly, and to top it all off— I paid sixty dollars…for dip powder. I’m assuming they charged me for a removal AND extensions (which I would not have needed had they simply took the time to soak my nails) which they should be ashamed of then because if that’s a removal —with a metro card— I’m being charged for, I’m just baffled....
Read moreDissapointed! I was loyal customer for uv gel manicure and pedicure! The technician Yang does nice designs with uv gel manicure. Cannot complain. On Wednesday,August 18 I made an appointment for Saturday, August 21 with Nail technician Yang, the person on phone took my name down, I spelled my name. Appointment set up.So when I came for appointment, the owner lady told me, I did not make an appointment, and someone else had an appointment at that time. What do you mean:" I did not make appointment"., when you took my name down?!. Explaining them that I made an appointment, is nothing, they have someone else already. She started turning pages and making seem like she cannot find my name, that they took spelling of the name. She has a customer already, Who cares. Its not first time happening something like that. I don't mind to wait 15 minutes for nail technician to finish with another customer, but telling me I don't have an appointment, he has a customer already, would you like to do pedicure?Honestly, no thank you. I made an appointment for us gel manicure, not pedicure.Very unprofessional, or suggestion availability, right away pedicure. There were other things happening, that I ignored. BUT TODAY WAS MY LAST TIME, I left without my nails done. TIME TO FIND...
