Terrible service! We arrived at 8:30 and were told they closed at 9:30 so we would have to be done by then. They rushed us so fast, and when I ordered, the server changed my chicken to pork. I tried correcting her several times, stating I wanted chicken, and she insisted I ordered pork. We had multiple people clearing our table of things we weren't even finished with. They watched us eating, and after being there less than 30 minutes, we asked to have our food wrapped to go. They cleared the table in 2 minutes and threw away half of our meal. We were in the car by 9:10. They still had 5 tables with people eating, but for some reason, they rushed us out..it was very uncomfortable.. the food we did eat was not terrible.. but at closing time, I wouldn't recommend many dishes! I ordered mooshoo chicken with pancakes, and the pancakes were substituted with fajita shells. I remember coming here as a kid and enjoying our time! I guess sometimes leaving a memory a "memory" is best! I won't be going back to this location.. Kwong Ming it is!!!

I heard great things about Jani and so I decided to find out for myself. The food was delicious! We ate Sweet and Sour Rib Tips for appetizers. It was a tasty treat. Entrees were, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, BBQ Duck, Jani's House Special Udon, Blossom Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. My favorite, was the Udon but all were delicious. The service was very friendly. What I appreciated is that you are able to enjoy your meal without being rushed. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. I highly recommend eating here.

I had chosen Jani over the Chinese restaurant across the street because of fond memories with family and good food back in the early 2000’s. The atmosphere can be a bit noise but the walls lined with unique authentic tea pots and horseshoe booths are very nice and rare these days. Unfortunately, despite the looks and initial tastiness. The extra deep fried rice and chicken and veggie entrees left me and my Serve Safe Certified friend with the runs the next day. Four days later I’m still recovering. 🚽🚽🧻🧻🥴🥴

One star for the rush.... Went in with a friend on a Wednesday night about 8;30 pm. The restaurant was pretty full. We were seated in a booth. And almost immediately the waiter asked to take our order. We stated we were not in a rush and proceeded to order a drink. He kept returning and asking for our order. We ordered eggrolls for appetizers and he kept coming back to remove them while we were eating. When our dinner came, he did the same. Even though we asked him if we needed to hurry and if the restaurant were about to close We then ordered a desert. He came back and apologized saying they closed at 10 and the register was telling him to come back. we looked around and noticed no other people were being rushed. As he walked away from our table, after we asked not to be rushed we could see him laughing with the Maitre- D. He came back again asking if we wanted the check. It was 9:23. We were not yet ready and stated so. Then he came back at 9:34 stating the restaurant closed at 9:30. There were 2 other tables still eating dinner. And the table next to us just asked for their check as he walked away. I am a local resident and occasional patron and never observed such behavior at Jani. The food and service has always been good, however, the horrible service for this evening will make me think again...

The good.

Been here many times before and the service is always on point. Fast and courteous staff ready to help. The water waiter was ready to fill the glasses constantly before the met became half full.

The bad Tiny bugs flying all around our table and food. We sat near back and there were at least 5 or more semi large flying bugs all around us. Freaked out my kids and certainly difficult to keep an appetite while they kept trying to land on food. The food was mediocre tasting. No was was thrilled as it once was pre covid. Something was missing taste wise. I got the bean curd and vegetable stir fry which was so chewy I swear I was eating cut up sponges. Flavor was meh. I ordered a plate of udon noodles for my 8 year old and was shocked for them to charge me the full $17 that the regular one with chicken veggies soup and salad was. This was just noodles. It should have been half. Very disappointed in that as well. The crispy noodles were delicious but dripping with oil. I’m not sure if I will be back anytime soon. It won’t be my first choice next time we’re in the mood for a good...

I have visited this restaurant over a dozen times in the past 2 years . My wife and I ordered the special on the menu Duck $23.00. I cannot believe what the put in front of me basically a plate of scraps Fat and skin. I tried finding some meat but then decided this was pretty gross after putting a piece in my mouth I then spoke with the manager that thought everything was very funny and offered a $3.00 free ice cream . He then walked away and hid in the kitchen . I asked for check and paid in full . I then spoke with the manager to let him know to take that off the menu before someone gets sick . He smiled and offered no apology . The restaurant is dirty and the service was terrible . The manger has no idea how to take care of a customer . I would think a restaurant would want to serve a great meal to all customers not try to sell what should have gone into the garbage to a paying customer . I will never return to this restaurant not just because the meal was terrible because the management is clueless. Do not wast your time or money at this...
