Wonderful service, wonderful suits, and wonderful experience! I cannot express my gratitude enough to this business and the AMAZING salesman who helped me, Mr. Onur Namver *and Mr. Aliuddin who helped me when I picked my suit up!!
I was recently invited to a black tie event but I’ve lost 45lbs over the past 7 months so I didn’t quite know what or where to start with buying new suits/a new tuxedo. I walked in and told them I had lost a lot of weight and didn’t know what size to go with and the one man, Aliuddin, looked me up and down - with no measuring tape - and said “oh, you’re a 44!” I was skeptical at first but then I put the 44 on and it fit like a glove! I instantly knew these guys knew their business and I could trust them! From then on, I was helped by the incredible Mr. Onur Namver. As I was finishing up on the tuxedo, I was politely told there was a sale where I could get 2 full suit combos (2 suits/2 pants/2 shirts/2 ties/2 pocket squares) starting at $299 each. I decided to take advantage of the sale and get a “normal” suit as well. Fashion/buying “fancy clothes” are very foreign and uncomfortable for me but I felt very taken care of by Onur. He is an excellent salesman who made me feel educated and excited about my purchases. It felt like he cared more about me as a patron of the business than he cared about making the extra sale - which in turn made me WANT to buy more. He and I spent a lot of time together going through different colors, discussing what I’d wear each color for, talking patterns, and talking about what kinds of shirts/ties/etc I’d wear with them in order to help me make my purchase. I can’t wait to get the two suits back from the on-site tailor and wear them out and about!
While I understand the appeal of going to a big suit business with name recognition like Mens Warehouse, I implore you to please give Bestfit Menswear your business as you’re shopping for your next suit. It’s a small local business with a location in Marketplace Mall (where I shopped) and Greece Ridge Mall with a lot of heart that truly takes care of the customer. Thank you for reading this review, and if you’re reading this, thank you Onur for all your help!
*A HAPPY UPDATE: I went to pick up my suit a few days before my wedding and was helped by Aliuddin. I felt I should also include a glowing review of his service. It was a busy evening when I came in, there was a couple getting ready for their own wedding that weekend and Aliuddin balanced them and myself BEAUTIFULLY. Neither of us felt neglected and we were all attended to with great care. When my suits got in from the tailor I tried them on and they fit PERFECTLY. Because of the back and forth between myself and the other party, I stayed after closing and Aliuddin never made me feel rushed. He answered all my questions, and even taught me how to fold my pocket square like a distinguished gentleman. He also kept my mother company as she sat in the waiting area while I tried my suits on and they made pleasant small talk. If you couldn’t tell already from the first half of my review, I LOVE this store and I’m so happy that at pickup I was able to have another amazing experience with Aliuddin. Thank you so much Onur, Alliuddin, and everyone at Bestfit MensWear! I’ve never felt so confident in a suit as you all...
Read moreI never write reviews about business but this place just made me furious. This place needs to work on their customer service. The owner/manager lied to me and told me my tux would be there the next day for my wedding. It was NOT! The day before my wedding I had to drive back to rochester an hour and leave my family to pick up the tux and try it on. I showed up late for my own rehearsal and had to cut my family outing short just so I had my tux for the wedding. The tux fit finally but had a frayed hole in the butt. Luckily it wasn't too noticeable but I just kept that to myself because there was nothing that could be done at this point. I confronted the owner when I returned. I told him that I felt I should be compensated for my troubles and the low quality of service/material. His response was "you need to respect me and I need to make money." What this man doesn't understand is that the world doesn't revolve around him. I'm not sure what has happened to customer service over the last 10 years but I remember a day when businesses stood behind their product. And if wasn't to their standard... they would compensate the customer. I wasn't looking for a free tux but i'm now.... i'm getting one because I cancelled my AMEX charge.
I left the store and I still don't think this guy will ever get it. And I DO understand that you need to make money, sir... but I also expect Quality in your service.
I suggest you bring your QUALITY back...
Read moreI came here to purchase a White Dress Shirt and was given the wrong size. I specifically told the employee I wanted the shirt I was trying on. Mind you I tried it on at the store it was a XL, and after the employee gave me the brand new sealed dress shirt I trusted it would be the size i tried on. Moments before a wedding I had to attend, I find out it was the wrong size and this mistake ruined everything and I had to be late just to buy something I did not like. Fast forward the next day, I came back to the store to find and there was another employee there.
The guy who originally gave me the shirt is out of town. So I was interacting with someone different.
And this guy asked me what was the size on the outside of the bag, because he thinks it was the manufacturer fault of putting a small size shirt in a bag with the incorrect size label. He was saying that the other employee would never make a mistake like this. Turns out he did make a mistake, I double checked the bag and the outside of the bag said S. When it should have said XL. Just take some accountability and admit to your mistake.
The products are great and these employees were nice prior to this incident happening; but this one mistake truley ruined...
